I want to share my experience as someone who has donated to and shopped at this store, because the…read morecommunity deserves to know what is really happening inside. **The manager's behavior is unacceptable.** He is consistently rude and aggressive with customers -- yelling at people who ask about prices and telling them, "if you like it, take it; if not leave it." What makes this worse is the clear pattern: Hispanic and darker-skinned customers receive hostility and inflexible prices, while white customers are met with a friendlier attitude and better deals. I have witnessed this repeatedly. Whether intentional or not, this is discriminatory behavior and it needs to be addressed. **The wait times on truck days are unreasonable.** On Tuesdays and Fridays when the donation truck arrives, customers are made to wait outside for hours, in the middle of a brutal summer heat. There is no shade, no communication, and no respect for people's time. **The inside conditions are just as bad.** The store has no air conditioning, and the fans are frequently not turned on, making the shopping experience miserable and potentially dangerous. I have personally seen elderly shoppers visibly overheated inside the store. This is a health and safety concern. The store itself is also completely disorganized, making it difficult and frustrating to shop. People donate to Soul Harbor because they believe in the cause. The staff should treat shoppers -- who are also part of this community -- with basic dignity and respect. Right now, they are not.

It is a mess and kind of hard to walk through with all the stuff on the floor. But I LOVE it. I can't tell you the amazing deals I have found here. Yes, they are a little dirty and need to be washed, but the thrill of the find always excites me. The manager always gets someone to help me out with my boxes of treasures. I go every time I get to Ennis and I am always pleased when I leave. If you want clean, bright, organized and easy to find items, don't come here. But if you want a treasure hunting adventure, I recommend it.

I put the order in by 10:00, 3 o'clock rolls around, I called my daughter to check on how her birthday was going. She did not mention receiving the flowers. I reached out to Starluck to check on the arrangement. I was immediately placed on hold for over 20 minutes. I hung up tried to call back several times to only hear the same music I had listened to for over 20 minutes. My daughter gets off work at 4 o'clock. At this point, I am guessing I will still be on hold with this unprofessional company. DO NOT go through Starluck, I thought this was a locally owned business. There are several great florist in Ellis county. I was in a rush and accidentally picked this company. NEVER AGAIN!!! Whatever you do, do not us Starluck, it outsources to florist. The way this company handles their customers, I do not trust the orders are getting to florist in a timely manner. They charge the same prices if not more, so you are not saving money. Stay clear from any company that cannot answer their customers phone calls or make their deliveries in a timely manner. Starluck is Badluck !!!

I have taken my John Deer to them a few times to fix over the past two years. I'm rough with it, LOL. They have been great to me each time and not over charged me at all. Honest shop, honest workers there. Yeah, there VERY busy. Turn around can take a while sometimes. BUT, I have owned a lawn care business for 7 years & I've noticed it's that way at ALL small engine shops in the Spring. WHY? Because everyone needs their stuff ASAP, after it's sat all winter long. (WHY? Cause we can only make money in spring and summer when grass is growing! If equipment's in the shop, we loose money.) So, in Spring, ALL small engine shops are Nutz busy. My mower is there right now. When I called to check about it's deck having problems, the belt, pulleys & the engine was smoking a bit, they only charged me for the parts to fix the deck bolt & the belt, plus an hour labor. They told me that the pulley weren't bent & that the smoking thing was just an exhaust issue. Don't worry about it. They could have replaced the pulleys needlessly & told me anything about the engine smoke and charged me for nothing, saying they fixed it. I would have believed them. I would take my Zero turn to them with confidence. Love this shop! (Oh Btw, I have a house in Corsicana Tx and in Hobbs N.M, so I'm from both)
