I was kind of sad to learn that they'd recently replaced the tokens with electronic cards, but unfortunately it seems like a lot of places are doing that. I definitely recommend this place for all ages any time you're looking for something fun to do.

I would definitely visit again next time I am in pinetop.

Owning several businesses in one of the most highly regulated industries in the country, I can…read morecertainly appreciate the need for rules. As a business owner and leader, though, I think you can also appreciate that your responsibilities extend beyond simply having those rules in place. You have a responsibility to keep the public safe, properly train your employees on the rules, and ensure they know how to communicate and enforce them appropriately with your customers. The defensiveness in your reply is similar to what I experienced when I simply tried to explain that your staff did not communicate the rules in the manner you are now describing. That is really at the heart of the issue. You have also taken on the responsibility of creating and operating what you market as a "family fun" environment. Rules and safety are absolutely compatible with that, but the way those rules are communicated and enforced has a significant impact on the experience families have at your business. Rather than immediately becoming defensive when a customer offers criticism, I would encourage you to listen to what they are actually telling you about their experience. Spending less time defending the response and more time understanding the feedback would, in my opinion, make you a more effective leader and ultimately make your organization better.

The decorations were nice, and a lot of the holes featured neon tubes to give a little 're-charge" your golf balls and give them a brighter glow. There's also a party room at the back you can rent. It's in a large plaza, so plenty of parking outside. The girls at the front desk didn't seem very happy to be there, but they were not rude by any means.

What wasn't so great was we arrived an hour before closing with a party of two. The cashier with an annoyance let us know they were closing in an hour. She didn't hand us a score keeping card and seemed annoyed we decided to still golf. She said it would take an hour to complete the course which it didn't for a party of two so it seemed like she wanted us to leave. On the very last hole, thirty minutes before closing she turned off a lot of the sounds and special effects then hurriedly took my husbands golf club and took away our pencil so we couldn't calculate our points. So go for the golf, not the service.

We came and the girl at the front was so nice. Talked about how the paintings were inspired by the owners kid. Whatever, what a weird comment, right? Then they give you 3D glasses, and let me tell you YOU REALLY WANT THOSE GLASSES. Of course, the first hole my 6yo starts a royal tantrum. Once again, the girl at the desk gives both my kids glow bracelets. It doesn't calm my daughter down, but it helps. My kids are fussy the whole time, but I was having a ball. The paintings and colorings on everything with the glasses literally make you feel like you are hallucinating. In some cases I felt like I was hovering or something and didn't know where to put my feet at. Absolute riot. Course was decent. Not overtly hard - good for my 6yo and 8yo. There was one hole about 2/3 of the way through that was basically impossible. Got a military discount too. After we finished the girl at the counter asked if we wanted some free tokens for the arcade. I don't know if that is standard or she just felt bad for me and having my kids go nuclear multiple times while there. In either case, a super nice gesture but I had to decline because I just needed to get them outta there.

I came here using a groupon a few months back and saw they had the sale again... It's no wonder. Doesn't look like this place gets much business for its miniature golf course or the go karts. There is only one track for the go karts on this property which was disappointing. They race bikes and remote control cars here so I'm guessing that's where they get most of the revenue from. This place has potential especially with it being right off of the 10 freeway. It's too bad the owners don't take any pride in this property. Looks like it's in MAJOR need of a renovation/makeover.

The "cart path" is very rough, rocky, muddy. We were jolted around for 4 hours and glad to get done. Course layout is okay, although very little variation for the 4 tee box positions. The difference between black and white tees on the front 9 is only the first and last hole. On one hole, all 4 sets of tees were on the same long tee box, each about 10 yds apart. The two nines are par 37 front and par 34 back, which is a first for me. Pace of play today was good. Played as a twosome and finished in 3:50, even with a 4 some two groups ahead. All in all, seemed very over priced for what it was. Will not be back.
