When I reached out to the business, the person I spoke to was responsive and very helpful. I was quoted $135 for the cleaning, including 2/3 bedrooms in the apartment, the kitchen, bathroom, and common spaces. I was told they could cover these areas within the 3-hour minimum. In the three hours the cleaner was there, she only cleaned the kitchen and one bedroom, leaving behind the second bedroom, common room, and bathroom. The cleaner did a good job, but I wish there was better communication about what to expect, or an option to extend the cleaning to cover the areas promised, even if it required more money. The cleaner did a good job, but the timing of it all really didn't make sense.

Let me walk you through my past experience... we have tried using cleaners 4 others times. Every single one, we were so disappointed. The first finished in like an hour (what a joke). The second didn't even lift objects to wipe the whole surface underneath (uuuum?) the third was really really nice, but there were streak marks everywhere. The fourth was just okay... (he didn't even use proper bathroom cleaning supplies to get the soap grime). Now I am not joking. I have never seen our place this clean. I've literally spent the last 20 minutes walking around, wiping my finger across odd surfaces (like they do in the movies), and can't find any dirt or dust. I'm not exaggerating. And it's the stuff the other cleaners always missed: the inner ridge of the door molding, the tops of the baseboards, way behind the toilet, under my desk on the floor (yes I got on my hands and knees). Deep clean baby!!! She sent two cleaners, it took them 5 hours, and it was worth every penny. I've already recommended them to my friend, who just moved to Brooklyn, into an improperly cleaned apartment. And I will have Joanna and her crew here for normal cleans once a month, hopefully twice whenever possible. Thank you Joanna and Agata and Agata. I'm excited to take a bath in my SPARKLING bathtub. See you again soon!!

With TopClean, everything runs on rails / is automatically coordinated using their online scheduling portal, and I love that I can have things booked at the same time every month without manually going to do it myself every time. Even though we don't always have the same staff members come clean, every person they've had visit our home has done a great job and always respects our request to wear a mask (they're usually already masked upon arrival so I don't even need to ask). They might not be the cheapest, but you're definitely getting your money's worth every time.

I understand that our cleaner arrived late, though he informed us a couple of hours in advance. He…read morewas very polite, but the cleaning was subpar. We paid extra for window cleaning, yet it didn't seem like the windows were cleaned--stains remained in the same spots, especially greasy ones in the kitchen. Additionally, the floor in the corner still had a lot of dust and small trash and also didn't clean the mirror in the bedroom attached to the closet at all. I had to hire another company to clean it properly. So unprofessional. Updated : I'm not nitpicking; I'm addressing the importance of professional standards for move-in cleaning. The apartment, at only 5xx square feet, took your employee three hours to clean, yet the work was subpar. To clarify, the windows were in that condition during the initial apartment viewing, contrary to your assumption. In the hospitality and service industry, acknowledging an employee's mistake with an apology is the professional response, not dismissing a client's concerns or labeling them as nitpicking. We are reasonable people who trusted your business and employee. This experience fell short of the professionalism we expected.
