This was exactly the circumstance we were trying to avoid, as my husband suffers from mold toxin illness. They fogged the entire house and crawlspace heavily to eradicate the mold, and put as many dehumidifiers and fans in as our limited electricity would allow. They even came back out to spray a section in our labyrinth of a crawlspace where the fogging couldn't reach. Terrible communication skills, lack of professionalism and inability to understand building codes…read more We hired them to put a second story on our garage with a 2nd story deck out over the front lawn. 4 weeks into the project they tell us to spend $500 to hire someone to use ground penetrating radar to locate the precise location of our septic system and waste line in the front lawn area. 6 weeks into the project and they tell us the deck is not allowed because the Health Department would never let us put post footings near the septic system. Why wasn't this addressed on day 1 when we first designed the deck? Why did we waste $500 to find the system if the deck would never be allowed? When I asked him these things, he got defensive and condescending - saying he knew the codes better than I. To top it all off, Jeremy was wrong and didn't understand the code properly! When I went to the Health Department (something he never did), they signed off on the deck immediately - it was no problem as long as the footings stayed away from the lines. Due to my lack of faith in his abilities, I let him go, and now he refuses to refund our $2500 deposit even though he has produced ZERO useful work product up until this point! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
