Rented an apartment from this company for 9yrs never missed a payment they went up on the rent…read moreevery yr with no upgrades to the apartment and then when it came time for me to move on to something better like buying a house they gave me the worst parting time -they tried to make me sign a yrs lease when they new I was in the process of closing on my house . The president of this management was no better with his behavior . when i complained about the extension of a lease to purchase my home there just rude and they feel they can treat people any kind of way. Now here is the worst part for 8mos. I was paying more than what my contract called for by mistake they allowed me to pay more than the contract called for without informing me of such it took me to look at the new lease to realize I was over paying but if your late or short they call you right away to inform you if I had not caught it myself they were not gonna say anything how under handed is this for a multi million dollar company.then upon my moving out I realize that thousands of dollars worth of items that I had in there storage room had flooded and molded I lost everything and they said they didn't have Insurance for the tenants property and they were aware that this storage flooded they charged me my security deposit to throw it away like it was my fault. I don't usually complain about things but these people at the Glen Ellyn properties are rip offs . Then when I called to discuss the matter I was put on hold with no return and to never answer my calls. Well this is my take I didn't realize why this property was like a revoling door one yr move in next yr out I just procrastinated for nine yrs . but to others who are looking for apartment stay clear of this management company . My wife and i have decided that this was probably do to color of skin.

The process was made difficult by forces entirely outside of their control and they worked through it giving truly above-and-beyond effort. My wife and I are extremely grateful for having met Anne several months ago as she helped us find…read moreand subsequently buy our new home this past week! Anne has all the qualities (and more) which we sought in a real estate agent; friendly, patient, knowledgeable, available and most importantly, she was an advocate for us. Anne was always willing to accommodate to our oddball schedules. My wife would often see places on weekdays during lunch hours while I would go see places that met her initial approval (isn't that how it always goes???) past 7pm or on Sundays. When we placed an offer on a house in early November, it was Anne that helped us remain firm rather than increase our counter since she believed the property was overpriced. Think about that for a second...an agent who wanted us NOT to increase an offer which would have sealed the deal. In other words, she would have made more money, spent less time and been able to move on. Once we identified the property on which we subsequently wanted to place an offer (our new home), Anne was able to navigate us through the complex world that is the negotiation. Having been living the condo life for the last 15 years, there were many (MANY) clueless points for us. Anne took the time to explain matters and recommend that we ask for certain things/items as part of our proposal. We probably earned ~$15-20k in equity from her expertise there alone. Lastly, she was a great bridge for communication with the listing agent. We probably saw 20-30 houses and everyone seemed to know Anne and had a great relationship with her. That was worth a lot of value to us as well. If it wasn't obvious above, my wife and I fully endorse Anne and recommend that you strongly consider her for your home searching needs! We couldn't have been happier and are excited to move into our house in a couple weeks!
