We were looking for a particular brand of sofa, which they carried, but they were also very transparent about new concerns they were having with the company. We drove the 40 miles to Chehalis and were greeted by John, a friendly, no pressure, informative and very helpful sales guy. The discounts this weekend were DEEP on already reasonably priced good quality furniture. Emily Elam was also very helpful as we were able to order a dining table at the sale price. We are unable to take possession of the furniture when it arrives, but they were happy to store it free for us, until we are ready for pickup. Shopping at Elma's was worth the drive AND we didn't have to pay Thurston County tax ! We highly recommend Elma's...at least include them if you are looking at and comparative price shopping!

The pricing of what we custom ordered was slightly higher than what we were expecting, however their pricing compared to other dealers of same custom couch system was around $1500 less. This store also has furniture at all price points to facilitate all types of buyers. We looked at 4-5 other furniture store options and went back to first place we started at, Elam's.
