An absolutely wonderful, locally-owned toy store right in the heart of downtown Centralia!…read more My 3-three year old and I stopped in the other day to get a gift for our newborn (and something for him too) and were completely happy with the selection of toys and customer service! Aisles and aisles ... shelves and shelves all filled with a deep selection of fun toys. They've got all the usual suspects: trucks, cars, stuffies, animals, games, puzzles, and much much more. We spent a good half hour or so in there, and could've easily spent another hour! What's good too, is that the sales associates didn't hassle us at all. Asked what we were looking for, pointed us in the right direction, and just let us look around and discover! I highly recommend stopping in Let's Play Something the next time you're in the market for a gift. The prices were reasonable, they have great promotions and sales, and the offerings are great!

Honestly, I had…read morewalked past this shop many times in my wanderings around downtown Chehalis, but I had not yet stopped in. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw what I had been missing all this time!! Truthfully, I thought it was more of a craft store than a book store; but I was completely wrong. There are many, many shelves and aisles of books - much more than I thought there would be. Both "parts" of the store, the books and the craft, are plentiful. Book 'N' Brush have a great selection of all genres of books - adults, teens, kids - and it's already great to have these selections in a local store. Physical space side of things - the aisles are wide, the shelves are deep, book covers are displayed, top sellers are spotlighted - everything is easy to see and the store is easy to navigate. The staff was very friendly with me. Checking in when I walked in and then let me wander and look around without being pushy or making me feel like they were hovering over me. Perfect!! All in all, I was very impressed with Book 'N' Brush and will certainly be back. I love book stores, I love local book stores even more, and this is a great one!

Especially seeing the transformation over the last few years, it shows how much time and effort they put into creating the (huge) space and vibe to be both an antique mall and a 'third space' community hub. It's kid- & dog-friendly and they even keep some toys & coloring supplies on hand for bored kids. They also have a central 'living room' for anyone to kick their feet up. The gals working the store were super friendly and helpful, knowledgeable about the product lines they carried and what was going to be coming into the store soon vs what was there now. Pricing was comparable to anywhere else you will find Rock Revivals and Miss Mes, and they carry the smaller waist sizes for the younger crowd of teens as well as children's sizing. We looked through the dresses, too, and they are very cute, well made, and not the "same exact thing" every other store around is carrying, but also not super break-the-bank prices, either. GREAT to know since my daughter will need dresses for Homecoming, the AFJROTC Military Ball, and then the Winter Formal.
