I've been wanting to stop by this store for some time and finally did. The store carries a lot of knock off items like Sanrio and Disney that can be bought from Temu and AliExpress so their pricing was average. They sold accessories, stationery, plush toys, beauty supplies, and among other misc things. It was nicely set up out front and even had Valentine's Day decor and giveaway gifts.
While everything looked nice inside, unfortunately the missing component was the customer service. It was completely dead, no other customers and the store keeper just sat at the back not sure what she was doing. Didn't say anything and didn't greet us until we walked around for awhile and approached the back where she was. I had to say hello first to make sure she knew we were in there. She nonchalantly responded back but lacked energy and looked bored.
What a missed opportunity. For a small shop, customer retention is key. The store would do a lot better if they would be more attentive. She only stood up from the back when we were standing ready to pay. We tried to be friendly by asking questions about the business and she didn't seem to care as she was just a family friend working for the store owner. Just nonchalant.
The store looked like it was unfortunately struggling and could use some customers but unfortunately they need better work on customer service skills to keep the business afloat. My suggestion is to be more friendly and keep guests engaged. Say hello, and be more alert when guests come in. read more
