Ben even handled some issues with the manufacturer of the railing (they hadn't shipped all of the parts, so Ben came back a couple days later, on a Saturday, to install the last piece). We'd gotten a quote from a general contractor to do the railing as part of a larger job, and they wanted almost as much just to demo the old railing as Ben asked for the entire job.

He was polite and seemed knowledgeable, but it took him over 5 hours to do a 1-hour job, and the result was very poor. He disregarded the printed instructions I provided, cut one of the trim pieces too short, and installed the door closure too high, so that there are screws protruding through the door. As a result, I have had to purchase a new trim piece and pay another installer to correct his work. But the thing that I find most disheartening about the experience is that I contacted Ace before posting this review to give them a chance to make it right, and they have not responded. I will not do business with them again.

They always returned our calls and many times even texted when we called to say they would get back to us as they were on another call. Jake, who did the majority of the installation was so kind and his work was perfect. He spent extra time letting me decide where to put my shelving which I very much appreciated.
