On the coldest days & nights we just went through my heat went out. Never meeting me but just a phone call away he came saw the problem & explained he would be back as soon as he got the part he ordered. The night before coming to installed it he called to say he would be an hour late in the morning due to a family emergency, upon hearing what it was I immediately told him I would be fine he was needed there, we could postpone. He said no he would not let me go without heat & proceeded to come in the morning and fix it so that I could be warm. Then with a true caring smile left to return back home to take care of his own situation. Through his kindness, honesty & perfection of his work I highly recommend him ! I no longer wonder what I will do when something needs to be fixed. With the respect, appreciation & trust I have in him I will immediately & suggest you do the same, always call " Brad VanCleef the handyman " Sincerely Olivette Rogers

THEN, we had two more sessions, one with a pressure washer, which he used very well to clean old debris from the surfaces, and then with another long session, coated in a very meticulous way all the parts with an oil-base stain. It looks brand new, and feels much stronger on the rails, steps and so forth. In addition to the deck, he gave the same treatment to a set of wood stairs (replacing one step), that goes down for the deck level to the creek behind the house. To say he renewed the deck is an understatement. So reach him at info@ModernHandyPro.com or 865-375-5273. I recommend him highly in terms of the quality of his work and very fair rates. I put up with Trevor…read moreand his crew for several visits, but after the final time, when he called me derogatory names, I decided I was Done and I needed to warn others. Need a few examples??? They left my gates open on numerous occasions which would allow my dogs to get out. They left garbage around the worksite every time they "called it a day"- A full day to them means arriving between 11:00-1:00 and leaving between 3:00-4:00. When I paid to rent a piece of machinery at $450/day and their "days" only last 4-5 hours and they don't come back early enough to use the machine again, I LOST A LOT of $$$! They moved furniture/sprinklers/hoses etc without replacing anything to original order. Trevor asked me to give him some of my leftover metal roofing material. I didn't have enough, but I found some for him at no cost. As repayment, he DELIBERATELY kicked over a $200 5 gallon bucket of stain. It was something I owned so he WASTED MY MONEY and CONTAMINATED THE GROUND without remorse! That was the final straw! I say Buyer Beware! If you use this guy, you are getting a deadbeat who treats women like trash.
