I have had Russell out two separate times now to do home repair jobs (replace a below counter sink,…read morereplace exhaust fans, hang medicine cabinets, replace lighting fixtures) and he has been exceptional both times. He is soft-spoken, polite, and respectful and he knows his work. He listens well, asks questions to fully understand what I want, and then considers as much as he can about the circumstances to give the best quote (you can never tell what exactly is behind those walls!). His rates are competitive. He thoroughly cleans up after the job! I think one of his personal values must be "leave it better than you found it." He does great work, has reasonable rates, and perhaps the best part: he responds promptly! That's why I mentioned having him out a second time, because unfortunately so often the first experience is great and then you can never get ahold of the person again! When good work is done, I like to stick with the person instead of constantly seeking out someone else. So happy to have found Russell!

Great follow up questions to ensure that the quote was accurate. Randy showed up right on time and was so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He completed our three small projects in half the time estimated, which greatly reduced our costs as well. It was affordable and we felt he was trustworthy and very competent. I am highly likely to both recommend Ace Handyman and request Randy for future larger projects. They stay tuned for an update if we have them close off a room for us and redo/tile our master shower.

He was polite and seemed knowledgeable, but it took him over 5 hours to do a 1-hour job, and the result was very poor. He disregarded the printed instructions I provided, cut one of the trim pieces too short, and installed the door closure too high, so that there are screws protruding through the door. As a result, I have had to purchase a new trim piece and pay another installer to correct his work. But the thing that I find most disheartening about the experience is that I contacted Ace before posting this review to give them a chance to make it right, and they have not responded. I will not do business with them again.
