My daughter is now in the toddler program with Ms. Denise and we are so happy with her as her teacher. She is compassionate , caring and amazing with the kiddos. We love the artwork she brings home each week and the relationships she's building with her peers and teachers. It takes a village to raise a child and they are rocking it! It's a bittersweet milestone as she has known MVP as her school since before she could talk. This is more than a school, it's a place where you feel like you can build your community with long tenured teachers and families. With only 1 class per age level, you really get to know all the other children and teachers so well! There are opportunities throughout the year to get involved- trunk or treat, thanksgiving potluck, Easter egg hunt, mothers and Father's Day picnics, holi color festival and so much more! They also are open pretty much year round, except major holidays which is so great for working parents to have dependable year round childcare. My daughter is more than ready to enter TK thanks to the thoughtful emotional, social, and academic education she has been exposed to at Mesa Verde Preschool. My daughter truly thrived here. She was genuinely cared for, loved, and accepted, and that gave me so much peace of mind. During drop off she would try to get out of my arms to get to her teachers. Maybe she was excited for breakfast, but more than anything, it was obvious she was excited to be there. She'd light up when she saw them and would often start dancing with them before I even left. As a parent, there's nothing more reassuring than seeing your child genuinely happy to walk through those doors. She's now moved on to the next classroom, and while I'll miss the infant team, I'm incredibly grateful for the love and care they showed her during such an important stage of her life. If you're looking for a daycare where your child will be cared for with kindness, warmth, and genuine affection, I would absolutely recommend this KinderCare. Every day when he went to school, many classmates would come and hug him. This was completely the opposite of how he had been described as a monster at other schools. Later I realized that it all depended on the kind teachers in this school. Because of their kindness, every child was taught to treat everyone with kindness. Ms Angela, Ms Emily even his previous teacher Ms Everly. They all so kind. Of course, there are many other kind teachers as well. I would even say that the school owner is really good at hiring; everyone here is kind. Because of my previous experience, you can't imagine how grateful I am to this school. While staffing shifts are common, the school needs to do a better job of getting ahead of these rotations and being proactive about the transitions. Furthermore, the administration should establish a structured, year-round channel for parental feedback. While daily communication from individual teachers is fine, an administrative feedback loop like bi-annual parent surveys would allow families to share insights on scheduling logistics, administrative clarity, or classroom dynamics. Coastal delivers both education (we want to educate our kids right?) as well as the essential outdoor play, interactive, creative and group play. The kids are great. The campus is fantastic.
