I love this store first and foremost. I live down the street a d am always coming here for last minute items from the wife. They keep a clean store and it's a pretty fast checkout. I have a 2.5yr old and he loves roaming the isles with me and that gives him plenty of exercise. I appreciate y'all. Cheers

I prefer this of all the Giant Food Stores in the York Area. My wife and I recently relocated from York City to Manchester, but still stop in this location since they have more organic products and wider variety of produce items. The store has a bulk food aisle which is nice for nuts and snacks at slightly lower price than pre-packed. This Giant is slightly larger than others but seems to be less crowded as a result. The store has a nice caffe as you enter called Savor with free wi-fi in the seating area. I was able to get a lot of bonus buy items and enjoy the selection of gourmet cheese. We picked up some new Ben & Jerry's flavors for a dollar off which they didn't have at our local grocery. There are few drawbacks to shopping at this Giant, the only one I can think of would be the parking is shared with Panera, TJ Maxx and Wendy's so congestion when exiting can occur. I recommend shopping at Giant - the bakery, produce, meat and dairy items are always well-stocked and fresh.

Great location with lots of variety and good deals. Especially convenient to have gas, pharmacy, and giant direct pickup options.

****GASP**** I was using the free Wi-Fi and within 20 minutes I had 3 bed bugs on my left arm and they were in three stages.

UPDATE!!!!! The owner and his wife reached out to me…read moreimmediately After reading my post. First by email and then by phone. They were swift to action and very apologetic. They assured me that is not the way they do business, and they will not have their employees treating any of their customers the way I was treated. I felt their response was genuine because the employee was fired. Greg who is the owner of the store believes that kind of behavior surpasses a warning, which I agree. This interaction with the Saubels has shown me I cannot paint the entire store with the same brush. This was my first bad experience in the store, so I will return to now that she is gone. Thank you, Greg, and Betti Saubels Literally in 2022 In East York County at sublet's Markets 3611 St. York PA 17402. I was refused service. I was going home from work, stopped in with my grandson to get something quick for dinner. I went to the deli the lady working behind the counter had her back turned to me. When I walked up, she turned around to wait on me because she could not see who she was waiting on. she literally looks me in my face and turned her back. When she did that, I started timing her to see when she would turn back around and wait on me. There was a very kind older gentleman working with her and told her she had a customer, he then asked me if I needed any cold cuts and I told him no thank you I was only there for cheese. I waited for seven minutes before another white customer came behind me and she instantly stopped what she was doing to wait on him. Her coworker told her to wait on me first because I've been waiting for a while. she totally ignored him and continued to wait on the white gentleman that came behind me. He refused her service and told her I was waiting there way before him. I reported this to the manager directly in front of the lady who refused me service. The only thing he said was he would talk to her, no apology or sense of urgency to remove her before she treated the next black customer with such ignorance and hatred. Do we as black people still have to deal with the ugly face of racism just trying to get cheese?

It was rancid, smelled disgusting. I called and advised them I would be returning it and that I didn't have the receipt. When I got there, they were unapologetic and told me it is what it is. Almost didn't want to give me a refund. Luckily I remembered I used my number and I have the app. There was nothing done for the inconvenience. I also want to note, whoever is in charge of ordering the selection needs to be fired. Like I said go to the one on green spring. Selection better, customer service better

Unsightly like this, it could deter potential customers. Stepping inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the large variety of items. It essentially is a low-cost grocery store, organized as a grocery store, unlike an industrial warehouse type of business. Prices of some items were too high considering the dollar store within the plaza. For example, a gallon of Turkey Hill iced tea cost $2.99. That is no bargain compared to non-outlet groceries and dollar stores. Paper and plastic goods were reasonably marked down, although environmentally unfriendly Styrofoam is too abundant. There appear to be a number of homeless people near this establishment entrance. It is very sad to know there are people suffering no matter the events leading up to their situation. I think this establishment could partner with community organizations on supporting disadvantaged.
