Visiting the store and talking to the sales manager initially gave me a good impression, so we went with Giant. The manager gave a time and a date the work was to be done. I texted Eric to confirm the day before, but received no response; so I had to call the morning of to make sure the floor would be installed. The floors for two rooms took two days. Rob, who was more experienced than the other young man, was on his cell phone most of the time. He was outside at points for extended periods of time on his phone. At the end of the first day, he told us they could not finish the job because they ran out of supplies. The next day Rob said they would be to us at 10:30/11. he came 11:45, but rather than come in and get to work he was on his phone outside until 12:30 while the younger man started right away.
They spent the second day on the phone most of the time while they worked which caused a tiny room to take five hours (they moved three pieces of furniture). Upon finishing, the team looked to take/keep the remaining floor product that we had already paid for until we pushed the issue. Rob said it was broken (a lie) which was not true once we got it from them.
The floor looks great, but the service from the actual installers was completely unprofessional. The senior installer looked to scam us out of product and was on his phone all of the time. Also, no one from Giant followed up to see how it went.
Overall, we were dissatisfied and will be going elsewhere for the remainder of our flooring needs. read more
