Over all this is a very good store. My complaint lies in the Deli Dept. Most of the people working in that department are very nice and polite. My problem is one of those people will do most anything not to slice your Deli choice for you as long as they have pre sliced in a bag under the counter. Even when you say please and thank you they seem to be disgruntled enough to even say Yor are Welcome. I do almost all of my grocery shopping in that store but might have to consider another place because I sure am tired of it being such an effort to slice a customer something that they do not want already in a bag under the counter. read more

The Deli counter needs more help and employees with a better attitude. We are the customers and should be given more respect. It seems like you are annoying them is you ask for something that is not already processed. read more

No matter what time of day that I go to the lottery counter, it's always closed. Are you short staffed? Why not have one of the people who stand around watching people check out their own groceries actually do something and keep the lottery/ customer service area open. It's frustrating! The Cranberry Giant Eagle is Always open and their employees are so kind and helpful. Hopefully this store in Chippewa will be hiring more people to work. read more

The pharmacy has certainly gone down hill. The staff leaves a lot to be desired. The fact that they hear but do not listen is appalling. Their wait times and lack of keeping a patient informed is unacceptable. The technicians attitudes certainly are something that need to be addressed or coached. No wonder this location has dropped so many patients as well as had staff turn over. I personally used to tell them all " Stand in the corner of the parking lot... You can see a pharmacy in each direction ... YOU are what makes patients decide to stay or go" Obviously some people including myself chose the later . Yikes ! read more

This is a pretty nice Giant Eagle that I found myself in the other night. The staff's really friendly, the store is big and clean, and their stock is good selection-wise. They even have a sizeable area for hot foods complete with a salad bar along with a nice deli and a dessert case that got my sweet tooth hot and bothered. Not that I expect Pittsburghers to come all the way out here to shop at this Giant Eagle. I just wanted to throw kudos to a deserving store. And...they had egg nog, which was just what we needed at the moment! read more

No issues for me at this GE location. This is my local store, and I find that only on the rarest occasions are there any significant waits in the checkout line. Store is clean, staff is courteous and helpful. read more

This Giant Eagle has great staff who are very helpful and friendly. The downfall of this GE, however, is that the aisles are extremely small and narrow which cannot usually accommodate all of the people that shop there, making the whole shopping experience rather frustrating. read more

This GE is awful. Two days before Thanksgiving and only 2 checkout lines opened. Find another store.

WARNING......This Giant Eagle has children, yes more than 1, had 4 children with 2 supervising adults allowing them to go back and fourth blocking the entrance and the exit doors to harass you into buying popcorn and Giant Eagle did nothing about it and the 2 female adults that were supervising these kids were just laughing thinking its funny to harass customers in this manner, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe its illegal to block an Exit, plus harass people in such a manner read more

It's a Giant Eagle. The customer service isn't the best ever, but what can you do. They sell gift cards so get some gift cards to use for fuel perks. There is a get-go right down the street. It's clean. read more

The worst Giant Eagle. I drive 20 minutes farther in Cranberry for a better one. They never have enough checkout people. You can be in line next and they put the card up suddenly telling you to leave. The aisles are crowded. Hardly ever have fresh fish. Self check out has an error every time or a lock out. Nice grocery store. Clean and organized. Staff has been friendly and helpful.

I love this store and I recently had an wonderful experience with a cashier named Linda. I had my little girl at urgent Care on a Sunday evening and needed to have a prescription filled for her. When I got to Giant Eagle, the pharmacy was closed. I stopped at the service desk and was helped by Linda. I told her my situation and she proceeded to pick up the phone and call every pharmacy she could think of in order to find someone who could help me. Not only that, but when that turned up nothing, she made a call to the Urgent Care to see what they could recommend. I have never experienced this level of service from a store and can't tell you how appreciative I was of this young lady. Go to Chippewa Giant Eagle if you're looking for superior service! read more

Ok so today is April 02 2015. I went to giant eagle and purchased 205.48$ worth of groceries at 12:55pm. I used my debit card and asked for 20$ cash back. I was in a hurry so i just grabbed my receipt and 2 coupons and left. When I got home I realized that i didn't have my 20$. I don't carry a purse. I have a long leather wallet. So I didn't have that many places to look. But then as I started really thinking about it I also realized that the cashier CODY(with the mo-hawk) at register 10 didn't give me my cash back. So I jumped in my car and drove all the way back to the store. I went up to the customer service desk to speak with someone about getting my money. I was told that the register had been audited at 2:05pm. 15 minutes after I left. And that the register had come up perfect. The women who audited my register(LINDA P) said that she didn't have to do it again because it would come up the same. Meanwhile The floor manager(TRAVIS C. proceeded to come up to me and tell me that maybe it was my fault. I somehow probably miss placed it. I told him I was 100% sure that I didn't receive my money. Then LINDA P. the women who audited my register told me that she talk to CODY and he said that he remembers giving my a 10 dollar bill and 10 ones because i asked for it. Now I was all ready really frustrated when she told me this so now I am even more upset. How can he give me that much change and also suggest that i asked for it. I try to tell the floor manager TRAVIS C. if he could check the cameras. He proceeded to tell me that the cameras dont have a direct view of the register. That to me sounds ridiculous. How can you not have store cameras directly in front of a register. So I looked at the ceiling and realized that there is a camera at the end of each register. So basically i left the store with out my money. DISHONEST. read more
