I had the croissant, sausage egg and cheese casserole. A large serving that was piping hot!! It was served with a side of toast. So pretty and it tasted so good!! Even the ice in the water is unique as it is tiny little balls! My dining friend got the bagel with sausage egg and cheese and was very pleased. If you are looking for somewhere unique near Hopewell, close to 376, check out 2 sisters. I included the menu in the pics. I am sure you will find something! Oh and the baked goods, there are biscotti and cupcakes and pie and scones and so much more. The brownie is huge. About 8" square!! Now that's a brownie!!

They serve a variety of drinks and some lunch items like sandwiches and soup. Me and my daughter solely went there for the bakery - we got a box of treats which has cookies, lady locks and a few other samples. We added some brownies, chocolate chip cookies and a cheese danish. We sat down to enjoy a treat and looked around. There's also a big and beautiful bathroom on-site too. Decorated beautifully- it is a cozy meeting spot to have breakfast or a lite lunch and a bakery treat. They even have doggie cupcakes for anyone who has a pup!

Unassuming from the outside, it is a small bakery with plenty to offer in the form of homemade baked goods, as well as some candy thrown in for good measure. We enjoyed their maple pastry and they delicious cinnamon roll. The baker was a bit rearranged from the movie - no big deal - and the service was super friendly and answered our questions on when they came to tape for the movie. It was a fun stop and their baked goods are truly delicious.

As you may know, part of the movie was filmed in Ambridge and this bakery is used in one of the scenes. The main characters visit this bakery and have a Swedish eclair, or Semlor. I was hosting our book club this week and thought it would be fun to pick up some semlors for our treat. I called the day before (not realizing they are closed Sunday-Tuesday) to place an order for 18 semlors. They said it would be no problem to make them for me, even though I only gave them just over 24 hours notice. The bakery was beautifully painted back to how it was originally when it opened many many years ago. There is limited seating (only one small table and two chairs) so it's not really meant to be an eat-in bakery. The semlors were a hit with book club! Everyone enjoyed them quite a bit. They did seem to be a little dry to me. Not sure if we got "day old" semlors or they were just drier than I would have guessed. The filling was delicious and plentiful. Would love to come back and try some other items they have--the giant cookies look so yummy!
