Been ordering pizza since we moved into town now 6 years ago. Quality of the pies have really gone up. We typically order a pie with sausage or meatball and it's always hitting the spot. We also use their app which gives us points/free pies and we've used those for parties. Solid, local pizza joint. read more

The worst garlic knots ever! Definitely not homemade, stale and dry, and the chicken fettuccine was oily and overcooked.

Food is very good and the workers are very pleasant. Caution when ordering on the app, it sometimes has a time pickup time glitch.

Just want to give a shout out to Gianni's Buffalo Chicken pie. It has a true bite to it which is lacking from most Buffalo chicken slices. You truly can't go wrong with Gianni's. read more

Never friendly and food is sub par at best. Paid $12 for 2 plain slices and a soda. Slices were burned and cold somehow.

Have been ordering from here for 30 years. Haven't ordered in a few years and will NEVER order from here again. Ordered a shrimp parm dinner and 2 plain slices which took an hour to be delivered less than 2 miles away. Somehow, they managed to get the order wrong and brought a slice of regular pizza and a slice of Sicilian. The dinner had sauce on it but the sauce had no taste. The pasta was limp and overcooked. They have priced themselves well over the competition at just under $4 per slice (including tax), $25 for a dinner that used to be $18, AND a delivery charge of $3 and a $5 tip to the driver- Over $40 for a crappy to go order, could have paid the same at an upscale Italian restaurant instead of a local pizzeria. read more

Did our usual pizza order on Friday and unfortunately the delivery person arrived while I was in the restroom. Frustrated with no one answering the door, the delivery person chose to test to see if our back door was open rather than calling the phone number on the delivery slip. When it was unfortunately unlocked he WALKED INTO MY HOUSE uninvited and stood in the mudroom knocking on the open door to my kitchen. When I told him it was inappropriate and creepy and that he had to leave, he argued with me. He was highly offended and told me I needed to calm down and he was doing me a favor. He didn't leave and continued to argue as I repeatedly told him to leave. He only walked out the door when I threatened to have him trespassed. He yelled out a few "f@ck youz" while I shut the door and locked it behind him. The gentlemen I spoke to on the phone when I called was very kind, but restaurant management have never reached out or showed the slightest concern about the fact their delivery staff apparently feel free to walk into people's homes. I don't need an unknown verbally aggressive man in my space when it's just me and a young kid at home - or honestly at any time. So good thing it's Jersey and it won't be hard to find another pizza restaurant. read more

I paid almost 60 dollars for subpar not-so-large pizzas and a vodka rigatoni. This sad excuse for a pasta was not only empty (you can count the number of noodles...), it was the worst cold pasta I've purchased. I pride myself as a vodka sauce connoisseur and i don't think this even counts as a vodka pasta. The sauce had no favor it might as well have been slightly warm milk with a touch of red food coloring to mimic the essence of real sauce. The pizza could have easily been confused for the undercooked slices at 7/11. We order two large pies and when we opened the boxes the pizza looked like i had opened a mini brands mystery bad... so definitely was not a a large pizza. Better luck time next time read more

Have lived in Little Silver my entire life & have faithfully supported Gianni's. I ordered a pie that was delivered cold & overcooked. when I politely asked to have a new pie made that I would pickup instead of having it delivered, (despite already paying both delivery fee & tip), I was met by the "Manager" who proceeded to tell me I knew nothing about pizza & continued to embarrass & berate me in front of employees as well as customers. In a time when small businesses are struggling, this guys power play was very misplaced. Needless to say I will NEVER be back!!!! read more

I know it's a hard time for small local businesses. And my family is trying to support local businesses. We make it a point to order takeout locally 3x a week. So tonight we ordered rom Gianni's. 6 teenagers at the register and not a single one in a mask. I could even see into the kitchen where the cook don't have one either. When I called them out on it they snickered. If you're going to support a local business then at least support a business that is trying to survive! Shame on you Gianni's. Ok where do we start . Ordered a pie and a seafood salad at 610 , The rude female who answered the phone said it would be an hour an a half for delivery and 40 mins to pick up. So I opted for pick up. Arrived at 700 for pick up. Pie was done but seafood salad was clearly forgotten, So in the spirit of the times , I left the KIDS a tip of 50 percent.. Upon a continued wait I decided at 715 that I would leave w out the sea food salad as the attitude was really bad for any business to have. So the same rude female said OH so you want or do not want the seafood salad .I haven't said a word about it as of yet, But after her verbal.I wanted nothing to do with this place what so ever, So I recanted the tip from my server. And he said I thought you were leaving that for us. YA either way you get a great tip for good or really bad service. .... Definition of Tip... IT MEANS TO INSURE PROPER SERVICE. So got home w pie 6 minutes away .As expected at this point.Pizza is burnt and ice cold. Many great pizza places around area for a 25.00 grandmas pie that would be great ,But Giannis is not one of them.Pizza is out on the grass were it belongs. Hopefully birds can enjoy it,, read more

There are local businesses that are trying to survive during this trying and unprecedented time by doing the right things, like wearing masks and keeping social distance. Unfortunately, there are local businesses that don't think they need to follow the same protocol, like Gianni's. I went there tonight, for the first time. There were 2 people (one teen and one adult) working behind the counter without masks. Well, they had masks but were wearing them to protect their neck. I will not be going back. I will only support local business that care about the communities they're in. There are lot of choices for good pizza in the area. read more

I have lived in the area my entire life and Gianni's has always hit the spot. Their pizza is delicious and consistently good. I especially love the specialty pies. They have so much more than pizza though. I love the Antipasto di casa salad, it is so fresh! Their wraps are also very popular - the chicken vodka sauce wrap is AMAZING. I have done pickup, delivery, and eat-in here, and the workers are always friendly and upbeat. You can tell that there's a lot of love that goes into this Giannis. The guy who answered the phone was in a really bad mood. I put in a delivery order and when the kid showed up I gave the kid a nice tip. The pizza was not very good the ingredients must be cheap because the cheese on the pie was rubbery, burnt crust and the pasta was globbed together with the chicken in the same container hardly any sauce on either. So I called the place up and before I could say anything the nasty guy said "I just sent a delivery out to you what do you want?" I told him the chicken was dry and hardly any sauce on it and very watery and he said "if you want more sauce its costs more money." I said no worries I won't be back so the guy said "good " and hung up. It was really crazy. Anybody who says this place is good is nuts. read more

Ordered the eggplant parm- awful. All bread thin slice eggplant very little cheese barely no sauce. Threw it out tasted like sawdust. The pizza was super greasy. They forgot the salad. Something always goes wrong with the deliveries from them. Total waste! They obviously are cheaping out to make more money. Give me a break! read more

We love Gianni's! The crust is delicious, the sauce is great, and we have been very happy with the pasta dishes as well. The Italian ice, as some have noted, isn't very authentic, but whatever it is, it's good. I'm wondering about some of the more negative reviews, because I'm pretty picky, and I don't know what they're talking about. read more

I just ordered a Large pizza half Pepperoni half plain well done and to say it was delivered perfect is an understatement. Seems like a simple request, but you would be surprised of how many times you ask for well done and it never comes that way, but not with Giannis. This has become my new go to pizza spot, and I love to eat pizza! I'm not one to write reviews often, actually feel as if most people only write reviews when they are not happy with something, and I am guilty of that too, but i have been ordering Giannis now for a while and felt it was time to write a positive review about something! The italian ices are a little overpriced and very sweet, they have GF pizza but it is not good, very doughy, not worth the price.

I have never eaten on premise but it is a great place to order food if you need something quickly. We order from here probably every other week and given that it is a pizza place, their food is as good as some italian restaurants. read more

I would give five stars if I didn't have flies flying around me while I was eating. The chicken vodka wrap is really good.

Was good last year and in the past but not good anymore. Portions got really smaller which is a blessing because it's not that good and it's expensive. It seems like the place cheaps out when you get a delivery. They always mess up an order. Funny they never give you more when they mess up they leave out salads or sides or if you get a pasta or pizza it's got hardly no sauce or topping on iT. Usually it's not worth sending it back so you wind up overpaying or throwing it out or using jar sauce to fix it. My fiancé thinks they make money on you that way. Whatever you do don't call them to complain or ask them to come back with what they forgot because the guy who answers the phone will yell at you. Now I go to Olivia pizza around the corner, 100% nicer people food is great and they deliver and they have not messed up once and like their customers Luigis and Palumbo good too and priced better. I've been coming to Gianni's for several years. I really love their Grandma's Pizza with whole milk mozzarella and chunky, fresh basil marinara sauce. My family is also a big fan of Gianni's plain cheese pizza and their meatball and chicken parmesan subs. My husband raves about their chicken parm sub. We've never had a bad meal at Gianni's, whether it was dine-in or take-out. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick slice or dinner. read more

It shouldn't take an hour and a half to deliver cold pizza

Three out of three times I've been disappointed. I ordered a cold sub and got stale bread that was at least a day old (there's an amazing Italian grocer less than 100 yards from Gianni's that brings in AMAZING bread from Brooklyn EVERY MORNING! If they didn't get their bread order that day, they could easily have bought some from there). A burnt pizza the next time made me throw out their menu. Just recently, my wife came home from work with some left over pizza and it was great, BUT..... it came from the Oakhurst location. So I decided tonight to give them their third and last chance. We ordered the same specialty pizza (the eggplant rosette) that she brought home from Oakhurst, which was over $20 mind you (that was with an extra $2.25 charge for adding sausage that was broken into little bits that if put together would have equalled about 6 New York style sausage ball type toppings. This is NEW JERSEY! No one wants Dominoes style toppings!!). The pizza was put together very sloppily compared to the Oakhurst location AND it was OVERCOOKED! The crust was like eating motzah bread and the bottom of the pizza was CHARRED! It doesn't take much effort to scrape out a pizza oven! How this poorly run operation has four locations in the most exclusive area of the Northern Jersey shore is beyond me. Never again. Don't waste your money, try Nanette's for great Sicilian & regular crust pizza or Oceanport Pizza for amazing thin crust. read more

Ordered 2 dinners from here. The 1st dinner was penne vodka with grilled chicken. The sauce was all watered down. The 2nd dinner was grilled chicken alfredo and I asked them to put extra alfredo sauce on it. The Alfredo sauce was so watered down it looked like there was nothing on the pasta. Never again will we order from this place. Don't know how they have multiple locations if they can't get the basics right. read more

New to Little Silver so tried giannis twice already. Takeout pizza on Friday for lunch - the rapini pie - fresh mozzarella broccoli rabe roasted peppers- delivered hot and quick and epic great. So we tried again Saturday night for quick take out pasta. Not good at all. Wife's linguine with clams was nondescript. My cavatelli broccoli and chicken was missing the chicken. Bummer when you order it and pay for it that way and get shorted. We also shared a garden salad that was terrible - a lot of wilted salad greens so unappetizing and we barely touched it. Nice people and quick service but from our experience this is a pizza only place. read more
