Then you need to go here!! I have been to factory of terror since I believe 2018 at Christmas time. They used to have a Krampus haunted house. Now they have Christmas experience for all ages. This year's Halloween haunted attraction was awesome. It was not the scariest but it was the most fun! My friend and I decided this year to go to a different haunted house every weekend this year. This was hands down our favorite. You walk in the gates and before you can even get inside there is a carnival themed bar with very creepy clowns. I had the orange screamcisle drink. You can hang out there or go inside the factory. Then inside you wait a bit and get your picture taken (for purchase at the end) then poison ivy's bar which is like a creepy garden bar. We had more cocktails and test tube shots. Then you get in line for the first haunted house - this one was an actual "house". All of the themed bars match the theme of the haunted house. The second haunted house was a factory. The third is a New Orleans cemetery. After that you head to the bourbon street area that has a bar, some vendors, a fortune teller, a lot of seating areas to hangout and a mini nightclub. We had so much fun here! We had hurricanes to drink and did some dancing. Then you move on to the fourth haunted house that is a "house" and hall of mirrors. The final you go through a pirate themed haunted house with special fog effects that make it look like you're walking through water. The final stop is a pirate ship bar - we had rum runners! You can tell they spend a lot of money on the decorations and the costumes are good too! There are definitely some jump scares. We were pretty scared at times. We were there for about 4 hours - you don't have to stay that long but we stopped to hang out at each bar. The wait for each haunted house isn't more than 20 minutes. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and seemed very invested in the history of the castle. Oh! My! The castle is rich in history. My guess is you could take three different tours and learn something new from each one. We were only allowed to take photos of the first floor. The other floors had Air BnB rooms. Everything from the paranormal phenomena to the tunnels from the carriage house to Lake Erie were fascinating.

The Victorian mansion is ornate and makes you feel the weight of its history. The ornate stonework, hidden passageways, and eerie ambiance all add to its mysterious charm. It's definitely picture-worthy whether you're walking by or walking in. The event organizers were friendly. I was at the castle for pop art show held by Zack Webb. It was so fun to see the juxtaposition of history/antique and bright pop art. There was no guided tour, just a hang out in the main area of the house, and basement lounge (both very cool). If you're into history, architecture, or the paranormal, Franklin Castle is a must-see. Although I didn't see or feel any ghosts. It's equal parts creepy and captivating. Whether you're a Clevelander or a visitor, go see it!

I sometimes believe that a homemade make shift haunted house / yard are way better then a legit…read morehaunted house. Usually they take donations and don't charge. This house is neat. The owner does a good job and is very happy and willing to talk and discuss his yard. The whole walk through might take 10-12 minutes. The ending of course is the best part plus the "green, foggy" room. My kids and their friends enjoyed it and you can go through multiple times. Highly recommend give it a look at and enjoy the owners hard work.

They go above and beyond with the decor and attention to detail and creepy statues, and ugh gross. They had some of the creepiest elves I've ever seen in my life. The actors are also great. The wait was not too long. We might've waited 30 minutes in line - much longer during Halloween. It was really fun with so many different Christmas themes. There was even cousin Eddie from National Lampoon's Christmas vacation which was hilarious. I really enjoyed this Christmas haunted house. The actors did an awesome job. There were definitely plenty of jump scares. And at the end they had a Christmas bar with Christmas themed cocktails! It was a super fun to spend our evening.

There were a few rooms with no actors or scares even placed in them, and one room had kids around 12 years old. MASSIVELY disappointing given the hype that Hudson has had for years.
