Great local place. Reasonably priced and fortunately relaxed vibe. As we are new to OOB excited to see in season.

I had a really great time here last night! The service was really great and the bartenders were very attentive. Drafts were basic beers that you'd find in any bar like Bud, Allagash, etc. but nothing like what you'd find in Portland. They have a 4 dollar beer sampling deal. The food was basic pub food. This would be good for a larger group. It has plenty of indoor seating and a few tables outside. You can play pool, darts or fooseball with friends. The live music was really great. I posted a picture of their event schedule from the bathroom wall... The crowd is mainly locals like other reviews mention. Parking is kind of annoying but there's a lot by the bar that's 5 bucks which isn't bad. Afterwards you can go hang out on the beach or walk to the Brunswick.

Under no circumstances do you want to come to this place. Came here yesterday on a Saturday night and ordered two drinks. Drinks were watery and bartender Dan said this is a dive bar so no top shelf. The alcohol tasted watered down in an unmarked bottle. It was clear by his demeanor and attitude that he didn't want to be there. This Sunday, I wanted to give it another chance and I ordered a beer and seltzer (they only have cans and no taps) and, unfortunately, Dan was back on the bar. He told me that one beer and one seltzer were $10 each. 20 dollars plus tax! Obviously overpriced and no evidence posted anywhere of the price. He didn't open the cans nor provide glasses. He did nothing but give the cans. No pour, no opening the tab, nothing. He threw my tip money into the bucket like it was meaningless. I was going to order a mixed drink and I asked him what kind of vodka he had and threw an unlabeled bottle on the bar. He told me that if I didn't tip him more money IN ADVANCE of the next drink, he wouldn't serve me another drinks. So, I asked to speak to the manager, Kaylee. Kaylee told me Dan can refuse service for ANY reason. I asked her if Dan's demanding what he determined to be enough money for a tip before serving a drink was a justifiable reason for no service, and she said yes. So, demanding a tip of whatever Dan deemed appropriate in advance is a reason for non service! Come on. Dan's service and his grouchy demeanor sucked. That's why he didn't get a larger tip. He did nothing to earn one. What a sense of entitlement. The manager, Kaylee, didn't even have the fortitude to stand up to this incompetent Dan and hold the line that no drink Is contingent on a minimum tip in advance. So, because we are tourists, he basically doesn't care, changes and does anything that he wants, and he's backed up by management. Weak Kaylee. What a joke!

You're…read moremet with the lingering scent of beer soaked into the floor from nights that were clearly busier than anyone could properly manage. Now, most people would interpret that as neglect. But that's not quite right. It's evidence. Evidence that this is a place that has been tested, repeatedly, and continues to operate under pressure. And strangely enough, that inspires a certain confidence. You know, almost immediately, the drinks are going to be done properly. I ordered something simple. chicken fingers with buffalo sauce and bleu cheese. Nothing remarkable, and that's precisely the point. They weren't trying to reinvent anything. They were just... competent. And competence, especially in an environment that borders on chaos, is not trivial. It's reliability. It's order, holding its ground. The service reflected that same tension. Reese, the bartender, was clearly under strain. busy to the point where most people would start to fracture, but she didn't. She held the line. And if you've spent enough time in this industry, you know that's not easy to do. There's something almost admirable about watching someone maintain composure when everything around them is loud, demanding, and slightly out of control. And that's really the essence of the place. It's loud... almost aggressively so. Packed. Borderline unruly. At one point, there was a couple engaged in what was clearly a volatile argument... infidelity, perhaps? but the noise swallowed the details. It didn't matter. The specifics were irrelevant. What you were witnessing was raw human behavior, unfiltered, playing out in real time. And oddly enough, it fit perfectly. This is not a place for quiet reflection or carefully structured conversation. It's a place where order and chaos collide and neither one fully wins. But if you're the kind of person who can tolerate that, or even enjoy it... there's something undeniably compelling about it. If you want quiet, look elsewhere. But if you're willing to step into something louder, messier, and far more alive, then this place offers exactly that. It's not refined. It's not restrained. It's something closer to a modern day bacchanal. And for better or worse, that's the point.

It had that sticky, greasy film on it from always being just wiped with sanitizing solution but never being cleaned with soap and hot water. Great glass of sauvignon blanc, my brother had diet coke and water as he just finished s work out at the gym. I ordered a bowl of the clam chowder and we both ordered the beet salad, my brother adding the airline chix breast to his. The chowder was disappointing. It was tepid and the potatoes were still a bit hard. Both of our salads were great. Candy cane striped beets, blue cheese, good vinaigrette. My brother's chicken perfectly cooked. I wanted to talk to a manager about the soup and the table but see anyone on the floor who appeared to be supervising. My 1st visit I did leave a great review as everything was top notch.
