They ripped me off on My 5 gallon propane refill. I watched the meter ! Started at 34.0 gallons on their gauge . He shut it off at 37.5 gallons . It cost $20 for 3.5 gallons . He said tank shuts off automatic when it's full . Best To just do a tank exchange at 7-eleven or Home Depot !! read more

Brought my 5 gallon propane tank to the Getty Station at 4 Ocean Ave For a refill. The gauge on machine said 34.0 gallons. Worker turned on machine and began to fill my tank. He shut off machine at 37.5 gallons. I questioned him that my tank was not full at 31/2 gallons. He charged me $20 and I said it's not full and worker said this is all you get. I was just RIPPED OFF! It's cold outside today. VERY COLD. Pull up. I say please fill it up REGULAR/CASH. I have over 100 miles still in my tank. When I'm on empty it takes $15 to fill it with gas prices. I look up and the side I parked on the gas meter isn't moving. Then I notice he's using the OTHER SIDES pump!?!?!? I hear it click. I know it shouldn't be more than $10 (IF THAT!) and he says. $15. WHAT?????????? He just let it click off and it happened to exactly at $15???? I have 2 dogs in the car, car pulling up behind me. I know I was just ROYALLY RIPPED OFF. When I asked him, he said. OH I PUT PREMIUM. Will be good for your car. WHAT??????????????????????????????????????????? STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOK!
