This is a brief of my last 5 years in hell with this place…read more Overdentures, Botched Implants & Endless Breakage: A Masterclass in Dental Disappointment If you're reading this, chances are you're either suffering through a poorly executed overdenture nightmare or trying to avoid becoming the next victim of what should be classified as prosthetic malpractice. Let's not sugarcoat it: when overdentures are paired with badly placed implants and a track record of constant fractures, you are not in the realm of "restorative dentistry"--you are in the hellscape of dental compromise. Overdentures: The Illusion of Innovation Let's start with the overdenture itself--the so-called "middle ground" between a full denture and a fixed implant bridge. Sounds like a smart idea on paper, right? Removable but secure. Affordable but effective. Except in reality, it's a bulky, fragile, finicky contraption that often fits worse than the traditional dentures it claims to improve on. They click, they lift, they trap food like it's a full-time job. And once those locator attachments wear down (which happens faster than your dentist wants to admit), say goodbye to stability and hello to public embarrassment. Because nothing says "value" like having your teeth pop loose mid-meal. Implants: Poorly Placed, Permanently Problematic Now add misplaced implants to this unstable circus act. You'd think anchoring prosthetics into bone would be handled with surgical precision. But no--when planning is sloppy or nonexistent, implants end up: * Too close together * Too far apart * Angled like satellite dishes * Jammed into poor bone quality And you're the one left paying the price--with constant soreness. Want to place a stable overdenture on top of that mess? Good luck. You can't build a house on a foundation of garbage--and dental prosthetics are no different. Breakage: The Final Insult When the overdenture finally does sort of fit on those misplaced implants, brace yourself. Because now, everything starts to break. * The denture base cracks. * The teeth pop off mid-bite. * The metal housings loosen and detach. * The acrylic around attachments fractures like a dropped wine glass. And guess what? Every time it breaks, it's more chair time, more lab fees, more epoxy-and-hope repairs--until the dentist sighs and tells you it's time to remake the whole thing. AGAIN! A Lifetime Warranty of Regret It all adds up to an expensive, demoralizing cycle of patchwork fixes, constant discomfort, and a steadily declining trust in the entire dental profession. Patients deserve better than to live in fear of chewing, smiling, or sneezing too hard. This isn't just a treatment failure--it's a systemic breakdown in care. Bottom Line: If you're offered overdentures supported by implants, ask the hard questions: * Are the implants placed by a qualified surgeon with a CT-guided surgical plan? * Is your prosthesis being made by a real prosthodontist, or someone watching a YouTube tutorial between patients? * Are you ready to deal with the ongoing cost and stress of breakage, relines, replacements, and repairs? Because unless everything is done perfectly (and let's be honest--it usually isn't), you're looking at a future of dental regret, social anxiety, and a sinking feeling every time you hear a crack while chewing toast. Overdentures from Arlington Affordable Dentures and Implants are not a shortcut--they're a booby trap.

I have called the office manager 4 times and she has yet to respond. I would not send my worst enemy to them. BBB gave them a one star. Do NOT go here. They will take your money and they don't care what happens to you after they are paid. This has been the worst experience of my life.

Both of these loving and easy going family members were badly exploited by their prior dentist. Kelly has been such a blessing. She is exceptionally gifted as a dentist and is more advanced in her knowledge than most. Kevin and the rest of the staff and admin are excellent. The facility is small but well equipped. Though I haven't met Kelly's associate and founder Dr Ferguson, I have no doubt that his philosophy and dedication is an important reason why this organization has remained so effective and patient oriented. If I could give them more than 5 stars I most definitely would.

After all the 10+ years of being with them and with the same federal insurance. They decided last year in the MIDDLE OF THE YEAR before I could change in open enrollment!! To drop my insurance. Not only was I then out of network and having to pay the full amount. But had an accessed tooth at the beginning of December I had to be seen for and needed more antibiotics to get me thru the rest of December till my new insurance that I changed to just FOR THEM and i was told they wouldn't do it. I realized then I was always about the insurance and money. Never a patient that was part of this dental so called family. So I paid my not covered by insurance of no fault of my own bill and will never be back or recommend them ever again!!!!
