This is a drive-thru only business with windows to order on both sides of the small building. Pay attention to the arrows so you know which way to go. I think my favorite part is the chocolate covered coffee bean they put on the top of every cup - a very cool (and unique) feature. There is hardly ever a long wait, which is great if you are on-the-go. Be sure to download their new rewards app before you arrive, otherwise you may miss out on a scan like me. : ( The Human Bean is a great addition to Brunswick. Our server was very friendly and stopped by just the right amount of times. The coffee was very good and I like that they drop off a pot on the table and a bottle of water. A aloud spot for breakfast or lunch.

This was a great surprise. Unlike some places that say they do crepes, these folks DO crepes. I got…read morea peanut butter and banana crepe (the Elvis, if you will) and my son got Nutella. A big point in their favor - most places put the peanut butter on when the crepe is still hot, which creates a messy, liquidy mess. These folks do not. The peanut butter was thick, rich, and creamy all throughout. Big time props for that little attention to detail. My only regret is not being hungry enough to also get a savory treat. It's counter service, but they encourage you to grab a menu, look it over, and order. Great. Advice. It's a nice little spot with WiFi and underrated coffee. If I were local, I'd make this a regular thing.

I needed to go get my own beverage from the cashier. Believe it or not, We bussed our own table of dirty dishes. No follow up was provided asking how our entrees were. The restaurant was not busy, so there's no excuse for the poor service. The soup had one tiny piece of chicken in its broth. The bowl was filled approximately one fourth of the way up. The crepe was bland. This lunchtime adventure was a total bust. Disappointing. Plus (The desserts in the case looked old & dried out).

Inside there's plenty of seating in an open floor plan to plop down and get some work done. But I was here for the coffee. Their menu felt quite large that morning (perhaps I wasn't awake enough yet, hence the coffee) but I opted for one of their specialty lattes, the s'mores one. It always feels like a bit of a hit or miss getting a specialty latte that looks quite sweet based on the description - I love fun sweet lattes but I dislike when they're overly sweet and taste syrup-y (high maintenance, I know). Thankfully this was lovely! Yes it was sweet but I could actually taste the coffee. I got a 16 oz to go as I don't think they did smaller sizes. Overall lovely coffee and it's just a shame I couldn't stay to try out their food menu. No photo of my coffee as it's a to-go cup...I never find those very useful unless the cup is fun.

Now on to the star, the chai was fantastic hot and spicy and the coffees, even got it to go, were fresh ground and made to order. If you need to host an event, they event have a gathering room in the back of the cafe.
