I live on a dead end private drive. The neighbors had this company cut some trees down and they blocked our entire road from 8:30am until 5:30pm. This for one is completely illegal and for 2 nobody from this company ever thought to talk to myself or the other neighbor at the end of street. I have an elderly parent that I take care of and if she would have needed emergency services, they would have had to wait for the crew to pull the arms in from their truck and move tree branches out of the way before being able to get to us. Great crew, great equipment and very professional! I'm surprised a local Spring Lake company has this much equipment. I had a 100+ year old pine that was dying. It was located between two houses that are very close together and tangled in power and communication lines. They brought in a remote controlled crane with a claw and a saw. We called Get-R-Cut tree removal service to provide us a quote for tree trimming services. We had used this company the year prior and were satisfied with their service. The company came out and provided my husband with a verbal quote and was informed in order to get on the schedule a deposit would be required. My husband paid the deposit. The following day we received a email with a written quote which was not the amount that was understood by my husband. The written quote was for $250/ hour, my husband had thought the verbal quote was $250 per tree. He immediately called them to inform them we no longer wanted the service due to the misunderstanding of the quoted price. Get-R-Cut refused to return our $100 deposit stating it was a non refundable deposit. Never once when paying the deposit the day prior was it ever stated or implied that it was a non refundable deposit. This was simply a misunderstanding over a quoted price. We have never dealt with a company who profits off a misunderstanding. read more

Had two trees removed. Maple in the front yard came down easily. A huge elm was in my backyard and less accessible. The team worked hard and late to get the tree down. All of the guys were professional, friendly and communicated well with me during the job. The work site was cleaned up each night before they left. While cutting trees on someone else's property Get R Cut parked their trucks and trailers in our business parking lot... not just for an hour but for an entire day, overnight and the next morning! Not once did a representative from their company try to request permission. 4 Calls to the company were unanswered and never returned. I cannot imagine a company showing so little regard for other people's property. Completely unbelievable and unacceptable. I would never recommend this company. If this should ever happen again I will not hesitate to call local law enforcement. read more
