After the wind storm we had called a tree service we had used before. He was too busy with the storm damage so he recommended us to call Able tree service. So we did. One of their men came out to look at the tree on our house. They said they could do the job but gave us no estimate. This maybe partly our fault because we were just grateful to get someone to come out after the storm because we knew other people were in need of tree services too. They came after 2days which was fine because the tree did not penetrate through our metal roof. Thank goodness for that. So the crane came but had to wait for the crew to show up . It did take almost all day to do the job. There was no bill that day. About a week later we received a bill of $30,000 plus for the work. It was One tree! My husband called because we thought it was a mistake. They said they could adjust it so now only$26,000 for the job. Our insurance gave us a check for all the work that was needed to be done other than the tree. We had to pay out of pocket a few thousand dollars to have the other things done. The tree company did not remove the tree or do a good job cleaning up. So if you use Able make sure you get in writing what they are going to do for you and the cost. I wish we knew more of what to do in this type of emergency. read more

Able tree service did an amazing job. The crew was professional, friendly, and courteous. They executed the removal of our large oak tree right next to our garage. It was kind of a tight squeeze. They hauled everything away, ground the stump down and removed all the debris from that and then filled in all the topsoil and raked everything else up. Very happy with our experience. I was very disappointed in this tree company. The first time they came out and they were fantastic. This second time was awful. They gave me a quote in August 2025 in writing. When the time for them to come out, I called them to ask when they were coming to cut some branches. They said they will get back to me. I let them know what days are available that they can come. When they called, they wanted to come out the same day (which is not one of the days I said). I explained impossible because I have doctors appointments. They said they will get back with me. It was 2 weeks and no communication. I sent and email explaining that I was very disappointed in their service and will be going with another tree service. The owner replied "ok". That was reassuring. The clerk states she tried calling several times, which she only called once, and had an attitude on top of that. Will not go with Able anymore. read more

I highly recommend Able Tree Service. Their fee was very reasonable and less than I expected. They were professional and efficient. They trimmed dead branches off of 4 big oak trees, cleaned the debris off my roof and lawn, and hauled it away within 2 hours. They communicated well with me before, during and after the job. The team worked safely and very well together. I confirmed that they have insurance for liability and workers comp. I am very happy with their work. No more worrying about those dead branches coming down on my house during high winds. An additional note for other tree lovers: I love my big oak trees and want to keep them as long as possible, and was concerned about the one possibly needing to come out as it was dead at the top. Another tree service tried to convince me to have them take it down even though they thought it had 15 or so more years in it. When I was getting the quote from Able Tree Service, I was told they understood why I didnt' want to take it out prematurely and agreed it was best to trim it of the dead material to help it stay healthy. In fact the representative who came out said he felt the same about a tree on his property and did the same thing. I felt then that my trees were in safe hands and that proved to be true. read more

How can I write a review if they don't respond. I called for a quote and Lou came to visit. I was told their minimum was $650.00 after showing him a 1' diameter at the base tree that had fallen and indicated that I had brush to chip which would cost more. Lou said, send me a picture of the brush pile when ready and I will send a quote. I later sent the picture and awaited a quote. Two days later, I called the office and was told he received the pictures and would call me back. One week later, still no qoute. I ended up calling M&A tree service, they met me at home on a Friday, quoted the job at a better price and did the job Monday with excellent results. This team was great. They removed all large branches hanging over my roof and garage roof. Also removed a tall but skinny tree. There were 4 or 5 men and lots of equipment: the bucket in the backyard other machinery in the alley and street No damage was done. They hustled. The 2 guys in the air in the bucket were so in sync with each other as one cut and the other maneuvered the bucket and tossed down the branches. The yard was cleaner than when they started. The backyard looks great and I thank them all. I recommend this company to anyone. And they've been in business for a while. read more
