Was told by employee that delivery was included in the price of soil but I was charged $90.00. Was…read moretold by another employee that their irrigation guys could come out for free to give me an estimate to fix my underground sprinkling but when they called to set it up I was told it would be $100.00. I ordered SIFTED SOIL and got 3 yards of soil with sticks, rocks and plastic in it. Owner was very rude when I talked to him about it. All I wanted at this point was for them to take the pile of crappy soil away and bring me the sifted "clean" soil that I ordered and paid for! Stay away!! I've NEVER said this before about ANY local/family owned business, but STAY AWAY!!! Spend your money at the big box stores! This picture is all the crap that was in just a 6 cup sample of the "soil" after I sifted it. Rocks, sticks,paper and plastic !

I wish I lived there…read more Any way- the review- Showed up in March and gave us a quote for our entire front and backyard landscaping, adding concrete and installing an irrigation system. Says he will be done in 4 weeks. Showed up and did the clean-up and tree removal work and started on the irrigation. He sent us a bill for the cleanup and tree removal. We pay the bill. 2 weeks go by, and he is a no show. Called him and he claimed he was busy with other projects. Weeks later he says he can't do the concrete work. Ok -we had to scramble to find someone else. Weeks later he hasn't finished the irrigation for the front or back yard and my plants are arriving soon. He says he can't find a plumber to install the required backflow preventor. Ok- we find a plumber and get the backflow installed. He shows up and finishes the back yard irrigation, but not the front yard. He sends us a bill for the entire irrigation costs. We pay him for the back yard, less the cost of the backflow preventor. He sues us. We go to court and the Judge, obviously, sides with us. This guy is an asshole. Avoid at all cost!

Five star landscaping, and specifically Tyler Mills, is my go to in a professional landscaper! First of all he came out on a Saturday, which I guess is pretty standard for a landscaping company, but I needed somebody fast and he was out here the next day so I appreciated that very much. The meticulous work that he did in and around my yard was outstanding! The price that I was charged was absolutely fair for the amount of work that I was asking for. I have an elderly parent that I take care of and if she would have needed emergency services, they would have had to wait for the crew to pull the arms in from their truck and move tree branches out of the way before being able to get to us. In this case during winterization they turned on a sprinkler program I wasn't using and I was unaware until way into the next summer when I was getting very high water bills because everything was being watered twice a day.
