Apparently, my sprinklers were on their own VIP schedule, and I was just along for the ride. When I kindly requested a later date, they hit me with a $50 reschedule fee. Fifty bucks! For their scheduling plot twist? I don't think so. I called the office, and to their credit, they were willing to work with me. But my card on file had expired, and they had the audacity to ask for an updated one. Excuse me, but I'll hand over my payment details when the appointment fits my calendar, not when their system decides it's showtime. The nerve of these folks! And here's the kicker: they couldn't squeeze me in later in October because, apparently, their VIP membership club gets the red-carpet treatment. Plenty other irrigation companies to work with in the area. Thank goodness my card expired--it's like my wallet knew this operation was giving off some seriously shady vibes.
