We stopped for donuts on our way to Dinosaur National Monument and we enjoyed delicious donuts. We noticed they were setting out the most amazing salad bar and after the Dino thing decided to stop at Get Grilled for lunch. The salad bar was delicious and fresh, the sandwiches were really good, and the fries were superb. Add in the ice cream and Dole whip and you've got yourself a great restaurant! My family and I were on a trip from Wyoming to Colorado and we ended up crashing for the night in our trailer at the Walmart in Vernal. We woke up hungry and saw that Get Glazed was right down the street. Yay! We arrived just about seven and were greeted by friendly employees and that freshly baked donut smell. You could see they were freshly made because one of the employees was working with dough right when we arrived. The selection wasn't as huge as other places, but the quality is impressive. The apple fritters are huge, but also have a good amount and apples and cinnamon flavor. Big thumbs up. I also enjoyed the lemon filled, the maple bacon one had a great smoky bacon flavor, and the cherry one was on point as well. Overall take my advice from a chick who loves donuts, this place is the real deal. Fresh, flavorful, and done right. Stop by and see for yourself. read more

I know everyone likes to read nice detailed reviews of restaurants, but all I can really say about this place is that they make the best donuts I've ever had. Oh, I guess I could add that years ago there was a place in Vernal named the Open Hearth. They were a bit of a legend in the area but have been closed for quite a few years. Great local donut shop, head on in and you'll see them preparing made from scratch dough, so these are legit donuts, maybe not the best in world, but a very strong competitor. Service was prompt and friendly as well. You won't be disappointed, worth a return visit for sure. read more

Not sure if I was helped by the manager or owner (or just a cool employee) but he was very friendly and generous, going so far as to give us a free blueberry fritter and a couple more donut holes than we paid for. Applaud owners for going head-to-head with stores like Walmart who also carry fresh baked donuts and /pastries. My hubby and I have had Walmart's and we decided to give Get Glazed a try after reading the reviews on Yelp. I agree with Ryan.
