The bigger items, requiring a fork lift truck are located at the rear of the store, with payment being made as the same method as mentioned. The problem is usually with the parking as there are limited spaces, which is compounded if a delivery is being made at the time of your visit. Worth bearing in mind is that Travis Perkins offering the same type of items is only round the corner if you wanted to compare prices or if they did not stock what you were after.

Downstairs is the household section, with a wide range of kitchen accessories and other homeware items, such as lamps, cushions, mirrors, and so on. Also on this floor is a door leading downstairs again to the painting and decorating area of the shop. Here there is every type of paint and varnish in a wide range of sizes. They sell carpets a bit cheaper than the big sellers but by cutting out or reducing all the extras you'll get a much cheaper overall deal. They also offer to move your furniture for you rather than expecting you do it yourself which is a big plus if you have very heavy furniture. The quality of the service is great, they are very helpful and obviously understand the importance of customer service. I also suspect they are doing well judging by the number of similar business springing up in the area recently.

Initially i was not very happy with them. I went there to buy some timber to construct a ramp for…read moremy wheelchair but because of mobility problems I was unable to put the timber on the roof rack, the person I saw said he would put it on the rack but would not secure it, citing the old chestnut health and safety. I had no option but to leave without the timber, and still without a ramp. HOWEVER, the next day I phoned them and asked for the timber to be delivered for which there is a charge, but this charge was waived and the person delivering, (the same afternoon), apologised for not being able to secure the timber to my roof rack. So overall, I was very happy with the company and will use them again, especially as their prices are really good.

On a rare occasion that I was not able to find the product that I required, an extremely friendly man called Alun went and checked in the stock room; lo and behold, the product was there, hidden underneath some old Christmas trees. The parking is ample, even on the weekends. A word of warning, Caernarfon road can get busy especially at weekends.
