The tire on my car got flat yesterday evening while I was driving for Uber. Uber connected me with this company, long story short the driver that came to tow my car asked me for $100 in cash and when I asked for receipt after paying $100 in cash he couldn't offer a receipt and said everything is online. I felt like he stole $100 from me with me. The reason why I am leaving this review is that I don't want other people to get fooled by this driver. I even called them to get a receipt but no success. This company towed my car through Triple A. A man showed up, did not introduce himself and took my key to do the tow. My car was dropped at a shop for service but my key was not left with the car. I had to call triple a multiple times and was told that the driver would be back to drop the key off every time I called. It took me 24 hours to locate key. Mind you my car was left unlocked over night and when the key was left at the shop it was placed on the OUTSIDE of the windshield after the shops had already closed. This is was one of the most stressful tows I have ever had to deal with. I definitely would not recommend this towing company. read more

Talk about quick and professional service! As a female, stranded on a dark Southern Maryland rode, of course all kinds of scary news reports of abductions, physical assaults and missing persons crossed my mind. I tried not to rile myself up thinking the worst, but hey, in this day and time, you never know the mindset of folks. Thank goodness after only a 15 minutes wait time, Stephon arrived on the scene. As soon as he jumped out of his truck, I knew he was my "knight in shing armor!" In the artic 30 degree weather, he quickly got my car safely on the flatbed, and off we went to drop it at my shop of choice (approx 35 miles away). Stephon was extremely pleasant, very engaging, spoke highly and lovingly about his kids and how much he enjoyed his line of work. I learned quite a bit about the tow business on that 30 minute ride. I was able to quickly assess the type of guy he was as we stopped for gas, he gave money to a lady down hard on her luck. And overhearing a few of his phone conversations with friends, he seemed genuinely kind, helpful and funny. If you ever find yourself in need of a tow, definitely consider Get-em-Gone first!! My car was held for 4 days because they so called kept having tows. The owner lost my car key and lied about it he hung up on me when I questioned him about how he lost my car key. I had to pay for another one out of pocket. The worst tow company ever I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL read more
