The food was great and the owner and staff were nice. Large and generous portion. I would recommend stoping by for a fantastic meal.

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for a while. My husband went to go order and pick up off Shaw and Blackstone. Very well lit, easy to find and access. . He said it wasn't busy but a lot of pick up orders it seemed like. While I was on the phone I heard him order my food, surf and turf no bell peppers (allergic) add broccoli. From what I heard there was an extra charge... OK When he arrived home the food tag was correct but full of bell peppers. From what I could taste it had good flavor and great potential to be very tasty. There was a good amount of broccoli which was nice. Not a lot of shrimp about 6 or so of small ones. I would have rather had 4-5 of the larger ones and pay a little more.

The meat was really good to bad there was barely any on there. Also almost no cheese. The potato wasn't done enough. The costs was insane. 22 dollars should have had a lot more toppings. I wouldn't get this again. Sadly.

I forgot what she ordered but I got the monster with potatoes and added the grilled veggies. Fireeeee

I've never had a better filet mignon and the people at my table had the same experience with their ribeye and chicken. Chloe was an excellent waitress. She made the experience even better. It was so refreshing to have your salad and two sides included with the price of your meal. Can't wait to surprise my steak loving friends! It's kinda strange these days that it is difficult to get a good steak no matter what high end restaurant you're at! This is the place!!!! I Don't have to wait another 30 years:)) Bonus: They were very accommodating for 9 of us celebrating my son's 40th. (Now we're the same age:))

Right from the start, they brought out these warm, fresh-out-of-the-oven dinner rolls that were absolutely to die for. I did noticed on the menu, it mentioned these rolls were from Max's Bistro & Bar from Fresno. For the main course, the Harrah Ranch steaks were incredibly flavorful and juicy, The T-Bone steak we ordered was cooked exactly to our liking. Even the side salad stood out because the lettuce was so crisp. To top it all off, the service was fantastic from the second you walk in. We loved our server because she was very attentive, She made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. We will definitely be back!

When making the reservation, i made a note that it was our anniversary! When we arrived and checked in, the hostess acknowledged our anniversary, as did our server! Very hospitable that they acknowledged it, as some other places don't. The food has been great both times and the portions are generous! Some high end places get a little skimpy, especially with the sides. Not here! This time around, I ordered the Prime Rib, got the whipped potatoes and substituted the Brussels sprouts. Both were generous portions. Also love the added touch that they'll give you fresh horseradish to go along with the horseradish cream for a little extra kick. My wife had the Ribeye, which we've both ordered before, and it's delicious. She ordered the cashew green beans, but they were very saucy and some were burnt. When brought up to the server, she said she would have the kitchen make her a fresh ordered without hesitation. Within a few minutes, a nice sized portion of fresh Cashew Green Beans arrived! The Wedge Salad is also delicious and generously portioned. It could actually be a meal for someone, if so inclined. The atmosphere is also very welcoming and private. We've sat inside and on the patio, and actually preferred the patio seating! I can't say enough about the hospitality of the staff though. There's a gentleman who is either the lead host or a manager, that's been there both times. He takes a personal interest in the customers and makes sure to visit each table, which you don't often see. As we were walking out, he was also walking out behind us. Even though we were a few steps ahead, he wished us (again) a happy anniversary and to have a great night! This is a special place in Fresno and a great choice for a special occasion. Note: Food was so good I forgot to take pictures

Add to that the…read moreprivilege and luxury of going to dinner with my mom, my wife, and my two sisters, all of whom I can always count on to not finish their meals, and let's just say... yes, I ended up eating all of this food, even if I didn't technically order it. LOL. We started with the SURF & TURF appetizer, and it was absolutely delicious. The moment I tasted the ponzu sauce, I already knew I had a plan because I had spotted Bacon Fried Rice on the menu. I immediately thought: "That ponzu sauce over bacon fried rice would be incredible." We also ordered the CALAMARI STRIPS with chipotle aioli, and they were amazing. Crispy, flavorful, and the aioli took them to another level. Next, I ordered the house salad with champagne vinaigrette, and let me tell you something right now: I plan to stop by once a week just to buy that vinaigrette. It is THAT good. Then everyone's meals arrived, and I noticed my master plan was working perfectly because there were two pieces of steak and shrimp ponzu left over. So naturally, I ordered the bacon fried rice. When it came out, everyone at the table started laughing because they knew EXACTLY what I was about to do. I combined the steak and shrimp with the bacon fried rice and poured every last drop of ponzu sauce over the top. DELICIOUS!!!! At this point, everyone started slowing down, which in my family means: "Send all leftovers to Sebastian." LOL. The Miso Glazed Black Cod was the best cod I have ever tasted. Then came the LL Prime Rib, it was so tender I could cut it with my fork. Bold, smoky flavor throughout. I'm sorry, but I have to say it... it was even better than the prime rib at Richard's in Fresno. And finally... the Bread Pudding. WHOEVER thought of using baklava to make bread pudding is a genius. I've had plenty of bread pudding, but NOTHING compares to this dessert. The flavor simply cannot be matched. Honestly, it's even better than Cracked Pepper's. Yes, I said it!!! Last but definitely not least, I have to give a shout out to the best server in town: Siena. Nothing elevates a dining experience more than exceptional service; Siena not only provided amazing service, but her warm smile and genuine concern for our dining experience made our Mother's Day dinner absolutely perfect. Thank you, Siena. You are the best!!!!

Anyways, with regards to the food, my partner and I got some spicy baked mussels to share, with a ribeye steak and lamb chops for entrees. The mussels were pretty underwhelming - I felt that it was just spicy for the sake of being spicy and didn't offer much in terms of flavor. With the entrees, we asked for the lamb chops to be cooked medium but they came rare, whereas the steak did come in medium rare as ordered. The lamb chops were okay but the steak was extremely salty and a bit too charred; I had to wash down my bites with water. With both entrees we were given a choice of either rice pilaf or garlic baked potatoes. The rice pilaf legit tasted like elementary school lunch rice (the ones with the teriyaki meat patties if you recall the 2000s, iykyk). The potatoes were alright, not bad but not great. Also wanted to note that both dishes came with like 2-3 tiny cherry tomatoes which is barely anything and would last you at most a couple of bites. Last thing I wanted to note is pricing. The lamb chops were in the upper $30s and the steak was $59, which pretty overpriced imo for whay is presented. Of course, that's also on me for trying to go for a "16 oz" steak (which I kinda doubt it was) vs. their pastas or other popular dishes but I think it's worth pointing out. All in all, I really think you can get much better bang for your buck at other semi-fancy/fancy places such as LimeLite or Willow Osteria to name a couple of examples. I would give this a 1 but the service was admittedly quite solid. Sadly, I don't think we'll come back.
