During my approximately 20 minute visit, two employees a white male and a Hispanic coworker engaged in a loud, heated, and public verbal argument right in front of me. The dispute became particularly unsettling when the white male employee began disrespecting his coworker. The owner's attempt to manage this volatile situation was inadequate and ineffective. She simply told the aggressive male employee to "walk it off," a directive he visibly ignored. This lack of managerial control and the obvious toxic work environment were alarming. The experience was so distressing that I briefly offered "Leo" a job on the spot as a hot shot driver, purely based on my observation of the gut-wrenching professional circumstances he was enduring. I chose this location as a temporary alternative because my preferred shop was fully booked, but the negative experience has ensured I will not be returning. Potential customers should be warned the unprofessional behavior and apparent lack of workplace control make this a business to avoid. I am just glad i didn't have my kiddos with me. Terrible!!!!!

Parking is adequate, since you're really not here for very long - they're very quick to take your metal, weigh it and pay you a set price per pound. Exiting back onto Kuykendahl (especially if you're heading south) can be a challenge, though. Keep that in mind when you're ready to leave.
