I hate to give bad reviews on a business, but since this this was my wedding I can't hold back. I…read morewent to their place an order a cupcake just to try it and I it was good, so I decided to order my wedding cake from them. I shouldn't know from the moment I place the order the lack of knowledge and unprofessionalism this place has. Planning a wedding is stressful enough and doing everything with 2 weeks left was even worst. I ask a family member to pick up the cake and when she went to pick up the cake she realise the cake was a mess, with no frosting in some areas and she had to wait over 30 minutes for them to fix the cake. Once at the reception when it came the time to cut the cake it was hard and impossible to cut, it almost felt like the cake was in a freezer from the day before. The cake was vanilla with strawberry filling and it tasted like a poorly done box cake with the edge almost burnt and barely any filling. I asked for a foundant cake and they told me they do not work with foundant, only regular frosting but hey will assure me it will look great. The cake looked like like someone made a cake for the first time, it was hard dense and hard to even swallow. It was a total disappointment and I would never order from them again. Too bad I looked up the reviews of this place after my wedding. Stay away from this place if you want a nice wedding cake.

Ur company said they were in some sort of an accident! Really? Why in the world wouldn't someone , anyone from PattyCakes call them 1st! What a horrible thing to do to people on there most special day! Why haven't u refunded thier money? Why haven't u had the decency to give them an apology?!?! Its been 2 weeks now. What kind of business runs like that?? I've lived in this area my whole life & know a lot of people & best believe word of mouth can make or ruin a business.

Two words: Breakfast Sandwich!…read more Cafe Duet is a great little spot tucked away by the Monroe County Courthouse. They have great coffee, pastries, small bites, and lunch options. The breakfast sandwich is phenomenal! As their menu states, it consists of "two organic eggs, split and grilled Spanish chorizo, sharp cheddar cheese and baby arugula on a fresh baked roll w/ a touch of sriracha mayo." The eggs are cooked perfectly! The contrast of the cheddar against the chorizo and sriracha mayo is wonderful and the peppery arugula comes through at the end. I would eat one every morning if my wallet/waist could afford it! The cafe is both large and small (you'll really only understand if you go) but I never have an issue finding somewhere to sit. In the warmer months, it's really nice to sit outside in their patio area. The staff is always accommodating and the place is well kept. Sometimes you wait a bit for things but it's never super long and they are pretty good at keeping you in the loop if there's an issue. Definitely a great spot worth checking out!

The coffee to milk ratio was good and the chocolate flabor was not too overpowering- it still tasted like a latte and not hot chocolate. It wasn't watered down, and was still rich and creamy. The americano was a good cup- straight to the point and robust. We also had the banana nut bread and the pistachio-cranberry-white mocha chip biscotti. Both pastries were pretty good. Some tables had ordered hot food like waffles and soups, which looked pretty good and we might try this place out for a snack or breakfast in the future. Interior is pretty with plants, a record player playing jazz, and clean tables and chairs. Service is friendly, interior is old world charm, coffee and pastries are great. Public parking, ccs, Apple Pay. Public metered parking. Would recommend!

About my 10th time here , ALWAYS excellent service, and outstanding food( and cocktails)!! Went last night with some friends, Faith , was our server. Pleasant, attentive, hell, she was on the ball!!!!! I tried the special, filet medallions and shrimp with pasta in a spicy Alfredo sauce!!! Holy moly it was awesome!!!! Very different, not as heavy as I thought and the meat was awesome!!!!! My friends also had the special, the standard filet( with Gorgonzola cream sauce, yum) and the ahi tuna. All loved their meals!!! We also had various cocktails, the black honey sangria being the star of the show!!! The bourbon bear was amazing as was the lemon drop martini!!!! Came once on a Saturday and they had mystery cocktails..... you pick the base(alcohol) tell them what you like/dislike and they make you a custom cocktail. It literally blew my hair back!!! Desserts were delicious as well! Quality dining......from the hostess, service, beverages, food, it is an experience you'll enjoy. Highly recommend!!!!

We were served by Jacob, which was honestly so kind and knowledgeable about the food and area, he went above and beyond in giving us a nightcap option after sharing that it seemed like things shut down relatively early. For starters we shared the Caesar which was delicious and truly made with love, it was enough to share, but I definitely wanted more. For dinner I had the bone in ribeye with roasted carrots and mash potatoes perfectly seasoned, and delicious hardy piece of meat and my partner had the special filet covered in mustard peppercorn with a guava reduction reminded me of something I can't put my finger on it. But damn it was good. 4/5 all of it
