On top of that there was a problem with mold under the house. Once I had that remediated Enviro-Air came out and got to work on the ducts. The job they did was amazing. It took them several hours and they were thorough both before and after the job as they cleaned up after themselves. They took plenty of before and after pictures of the ducts to show what they accomplished and it's a night and day difference in what the ducts looked like. To think we were breathing all of that stuff in. Yikes! I suffer terrible allergies as well, so all that dust couldn't have been good for them. People usually don't think about general home maintenance on things they don't see, such as water heaters and air ducts, but don't neglect these things because you'll be sorry if you do and the piece of mind you will have knowing you are sleeping in a safe environment is priceless! But the buyer was to confused on whom to believe, an actual foundation company or an inspector who doesn't know anything about structure if he can't find a crack but yet kept saying it was structure, lol oh well guess what, the Mason company came out and fixed the expansion joint above the window, he said it happens all the time where the builder doesn't put enough expansion joints by windows. Something an inspector should know, not just immediately go to, oh it's structural.
