Been dealing with this family run business for over 30 years! Fair prices, quality work, no up-sales that aren't warranted and convenience are just a few reasons why I trust this business. I even now drive in from Rialto to have them deliver superior service! read more

I have been coming here for years. My last oil change i was in and out. I did come back for a transmission fluid drain and fill and a serpentine belt change that same week after seeing their services posted. After waiting in line for 20 min i was turned down due to how long those services would take. Just come here for the oil change. read more

The person changing my oil lost my oil plug out of my oil pan. Instead of telling me, they replaced my plug with a rubber ring and a butterfly screw. I could have lost all the oil in my engine and not known it frying my engine. I don't recommend this place to anybody. And when I went back to discuss it, they acted like it was my fault. Don't waste your money for your time. I would not leave a star except Yelp makes you leave at least 1:00 in order to post your review. Bad Yelp read more

Just got an oil change here a couple of days ago. Their customer service was awesome and I was in and out quickly. I originally just went for a top off, but once we checked the sticker we realized it was time for an oil change. They checked all of the fluids and my tire pressure. I was also very happy with their low price compared to taking it to the dealership or some of the other local oil change places I've gone to. I will continue to return for their awesome and efficient service! read more

These guys are the best. I'm so sad I had to move up north and I haven't found my place yet. I had to go to a jiffy lube for an oil change. They were trying to upsell me a bunch of stuff so I waited to ask Gerkey and sons guys what they thought. They always give their honest and reasonable opinions. Forever grateful read more

Been going here for awhile Tuesday Nov 15, I took 2 cars in , everything went good, the next day on my concrete driveway was a huge oil puddle, I called them and they said bring it back, took it back Saturday and the guy told me the oil pan was cracked on the bottom in his words, I took it to my mechanic , he said it's cracked right behind the oil plug , my mechanic said they tighten it to tight, I believe I I did hear the guy use a impact drill, bottom line is they said they won't cover it, only give double what the bill was, that won't cover the new bill to replace the oil pan , $600/$700 , I'm gonna take them the bill and get that less than $100 there offering , but there losing a customer, also tell about 8 of my friends that go there also, word of mouth goes along way , those 8 will tell there friends that go there , you don't screw local customers in the area. read more

This is my favorite place to go for my oil change! I have been going for years their service is top notch. They check all fluids, replace my windshield wipers and even my break and headlights. All while sitting in the comfort of my car! I no longer live in Whittier but will still make the drive every few months to get my oil changed. Thank you for the amazing service and great prices! They were fast and transparent with changing my front differential fluid and transfer case fluid on my truck. The price was great and they had the nice courtesy of showing me how visibly bad the fluid's condition was. Support local business! read more

Quick and easy service but kind of pricey. I did not get a new oil filter because it would've came out to nearly $100. With that being said, it was very convenient & I was out in 5-7 minutes! read more

Gerkey & Sons Lube Pit Stop - $75 for 2018 Honda Civic - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Whittier, California

Came here for an oil change by recommendation of JL and I am so glad I did. Being an individual who knows very little about automobiles, I always feel nervous and intimidated going to auto/body shops for maintenance. That said, this business really is as good as it gets. Came here for an oil change, and that's what I got...and them some. Instead of trying to upsell me on stuff that wasn't necessary, they changed my oil, filters, and did a service and courtesy check that covered every single base you could imagine. Grand total: $ 35.39! They even alerted my to keep aware of critters that reside in my neck of the woods, based on remnants that were found under the hood (groan). I would've never thought of that! On top of that, I arrived 20 minutes before closing time thinking there was no way they would fit me in. I was shocked...shocked!... that I was able to drive right in, receive excellent service, and be out in under 10 minutes. Finally found a speedy, reliable, and honest place for my automotive maintenance. read more

Service is good, prices are reasonable, and friendly & courtesy staff. Have been coming here for years,

Even though it looks scary/rough around the edges outside and there's no parking, the staff was very nice. While I was getting my oil change, they topped off my coolant, inflated my tires, and cleaned my windshield. Very nice and very fast. About $39 for my oil change for a 2005 Honda Civic. read more

Great service. Very professional and helpful. Quick service will always being my car here for service. Price is reasonable

Went here because the Valvoline line was long, Quick service at a reasonable price, I'll be back here for future oil changes.

Quick oil change. Didn't wait long at all, in total about a 15 minute wait. I believe their oil change for most cars is $39.50, I paid $47 for a hemi. They check your tire pressure, wash your windows, refilled my fluids and best part didn't try to sell me a new filter LOL. But the sweet guy did dust off my filter. Family owned and did a great job! read more

Need to get your oil changed during a pandemic and want to stay safe in your comfy car? This is the place to go. I watched them change my oil, top off the other liquids and made sure my tires had enough air. They were fast, efficient, and friendly. I will definitely be back :) read more

I love being screwed, just not from my mechanic....so that's why I checked this place out (based on the positive Yelp reviews). I'm glad I did! Like everyone else said: they're fast! I think 10 minutes was an overestimate because I had barely sat down and had enough time to call my boss and tell her I was going to be late (which I wasn't, because of Gerkey's speedy service). They're legit, too. They showed me everything they checked out and let me know if anything alerted them (fortunately, it didn't). I never got the feeling that they were trying to upsell me on something I don't need but scare me into believing I do. They even cleaned my front windshield -- sweet! Best of all, this place is affordable. Comparable to what you'd pay at Jiffy Lube (if you have a coupon) you get friendly service, efficiency, and piece of mind. Next time I need an oil change, I know I'm coming back here. read more

I have just had an oil change at noon today. They have great service and prices. There is no bs, there is no nonsense. Strongly recommend it. Do not go to chain stores. Always support family-run businesses. (my suggestion) read more

Been coming to this place a couple years now. Its a little family owned place, and your in and out in 15 mins or less. Usually come here to change my oil on my truck during work since its so close, but they also offer your usual oil change services the competition does. Prices are pretty competitive to Jiffy Lubes. Just this place makes you feel more at home. If your looking for cheaper than the norm, I wouldn't recommend, but if you want quality service, fast and furious, then yes. read more

Great family location, I don't like going to the big corporate businesses would rather spend my money locally, prices are fair

I usually go to Painter Transmissions for my oil change, but for some reason they were closed, so stopped here and the service was so quick!
