I had three new stints placed the end of March 2018 when I was in Chicago. I was told to see my cardiologist ASAP when I returned home. I scheduled an appoint to see Dr. Gerber on Wednesday June 20-18 (unfortunately this was his soonest opening). About 20 minutes after arriving I was told that Dr. Gerber was 1 to 1-1/2 hours behind. I had another appointment which could not be canceled. His PA, Tyler didn't know my history, which did not instill a sense of credibility. When I saw Dr. Gerber in the hall upon leaving I expressed my frustration to him and he said, "you are lucky you saw the PA". What arrogance, audacity and lack of care as a doctor ! I have lost all confidence in Dr. Gerber and those associated with his practice. I waited three months post surgery and was treated very unprofessionally. When I asked to see Dr. Gerber in the next couple of weeks I was told it would be another three months before he had an opening. This is unacceptable, and very inconsiderate. It is obvious that Dr. Gerber is not invested in his patients and their care. read more
