Every time I'm feeling to get some good authentic Mexican food I always come here. They make their tacos so good.

Great tacos, flavorful and tasty. Service was fast, and friendly. They have lots of condiments for you in front of the taco spot!

Good tasting tacos but their staffs not so much

I was craving for some Mexican food because I had pizza earlier this afternoon. So guess what I use yelp again and stambled upon Gerardo's Tacos. I went there around 9 pm and there were a lot of people's waiting and eating in the parking lot. I also notice during these pandemic unprecedented times their staffs didn't wear any Face mask or any gloves. Especially the two male cooks didn't have any gloves or face mask and where is code enforcement or the health department when you need them. 4/5 chorizo tacos & carne asada & adobada tacos all tacos seemed to taste good, their prices seemed reasonable. Service 2/5 I felt that the staffs were not too sanitary. Location 2/5 in a big sketchy parking lot side of town. Isn't there some stricter enforcement or requirements if you're running a essential business apparently these tacos trucks around the Fresno & Clovis area doesn't care or didn't want to pay for the (PPE) I'm not sure if they're endangering themselves or their customers. I took my chance eating here will you?

5/5 stars!! This is our new taco spot lol. I had the adobada tacos and they were very flavorful. They take debit/cash. Their fresh aguas were also very good! I've tasted both the limon and horchata. Customer service was great.

Saw the bright lit up sign on the trailer and I had to stop and boy was I'm glad I did. The Food Trailer is parked on Tulare and 6th, in front of a Glass Shop, next door to Whiskey Bar. We arrived at around 9pm and there was a line of about 8 people waiting to order, with 5-6 people waiting and eating food. Of course this means the food must be good! I ordered 4 Asada tacos and 1 Asada burrito. The food came out piping hot and smelled great. In front of the trailer all the condiments were laid out - All the toppings and sauces were available to do it yourself. After putting on all the condiments and veges, I handed the burrito back to the man inside the trailer to wrap up my burrito. The food tasted awesome and the level of service given by this busy trailer was excellent. Napkins were readily available and they also had hand sanitizer too. Parking is plentiful if you get here during a time it's not too busy. Overall I was blown away by the good food, their setup and customer service. I will definitely be coming back with more friends to Gerardo's Tacos.

Asada taco & adobada taco

This is one of my favorite spot to go to now for tacos, the tacos wasn't soggy nor dry. We had to come back for second rounds because it was that good or maybe we were hungry lol. But then this place is popular, every time we come here there is always a couple people here coming and going. The tripas tacos was one of my bf favorites. He decided to try the tripas burrito. But i think it would tasted better if it was asada burrito. I really like how they put refried beans in there instead of whole pinto beans. That's one of my favorite. But overall, I will be coming back when I'm craving street tacos. Come and try! Let me know what you think.

Got a quesadilla and it was delicious. It seems they only take cash. Either way well worth the drive across town for their food.

Flavor filled adobada with perfectly grilled onions, a zesty avocado sauce, and a picante salsa= one delightful taco.

This is a hidden gem (?) at least to me, in downtown Fresno. I live 30 minutes away but was…read moredowntown for a play at the Saroyan Theater. This food truck is like a kitchen on wheels. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of yummy coleslaw. The sandwich came with several single serving size containers of bbq sauce. The pulled pork was very tender, moist and smoked deliciously. Soft hoagie roll. The bbq sauce was very flavorful and not spicy which is how I like it. I loved the coleslaw because it wasn't too mayonnaisey, more of a subtle vinegar flavor. My son ordered the brisket with collard greens which he says, you can't truly be a bbq restaurant without collard greens. He loved them and the brisket was tender and lean. His husband ordered a tri tip sandwich with the Mac n cheese along with a made to order Blackberry Lemonade. They both loved their meals. We all agreed we'd return for another meal. Tge desserts looks delicious! Bread pudding, peach cobbler and a couple other choices. Like I said, another day to indulge in dessert. It is outdoor seating only on picnic tables. You could see the owner and his assistant working hard to prepare the meals. They had a steady stream of guests. Good location with parking very close by.

I love brisket, the last 3 times, brisket was dried and probably days old. Brisket in suppose to be tender and juicy. This was not. Tri tip cut the wrong way, not even tender, consistently out of certain side dishes and act like they're sold out. Service is ok, food truck style, they had the indoors open for a little bit, not sure what's happened. The ambiance is downtown food truck style, service is ok, near other bars and restaurants. 11/14 - 2 plates ~$50 12/4 2 plates - ~$75 They lost a customer in me. I can go to mega Texas, westwoods or any other location for better bbq options.

Came on a very cold night and had our meal inside the prep room instead of outside. The location is right next to a gas station so little parking available. They have a food truck outside next to their dine-in inside. I like that they have a limited menu so that's was good. I will say this, I've never had Hmong food so I am not sure how it should taste. I order half dozen egg rolls and three spring rolls, and a large Nab Vam drink. The egg rolls were crispy, although the glass noodles inside caught me off guard. Actually, I didn't like them... I do like their sweet and spicy sauce though. The spring rolls were nice and thick, and I like that they add pork to theirs. Definitely filling. However, their peanut sauce is overwhelming spicy. It kinda masks the nutty flavor of the peanut butter. The drink was ok. I love how colorful it was. I listen to the guy and shake my drink well, but I didn't find it no where sweet. I think I had expectations that it would taste like a boba drink but yea it felt off for me. Other wise, it's ok. I ended up disagreeing with my friend on the eggrolls claim lol

My wife is fiending for something beefy, and sees a steak dish on the menu. I say, "I dunno about steak from a Thai (maybe Lao) food truck." It was called Crying Tiger with Rice, for $17. But hunger won over, and we ordered it. The food came out in good order and promptly. And oh my, this steak was DELICIOUS. Cooked a perfect medium rare, it was tender, juicy, marinated with something that brought out the steak flavor. With the dipping sauce, it was a savory, citrus-y delight with a small spicy kick. Sorry for eating part of it before thinking "I definitely have to rate this place". Lol. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Happy eating!

I need to expand my range of their menu next time, but the crying tiger and dipping sauce is just so dang good. The folks who work this truck are helpful and kind too. One time out at the college, they ran out of, if you can believe it... sticky rice! They did notify us before we ordered, but again, that steak and dipping sauce was just something I couldn't resist. They quickly offered to replace it with eggrolls and we got 4! (There was another time that they did not come out to a scheduled spot due to weather. And I wondered about food trucks not coming out due to rain, is it a functionality thing for the truck or do they think people won't be out and about to purchase? Because let me tell you staff love a chance to order food that isn't the cafe without having to leave campus! Haha)
