In July 2026, Mr. Dennis and his company removed my old patio concrete and poured new concrete in…read moremy backyard. The quality of the work was unacceptable. The corners do not line up properly, and there is a large gap between my deck and the new concrete, creating a tripping hazard. Concrete was splattered on my walls, and the edge where the concrete meets the wall is uneven and wavy instead of straight. The concrete also has spider cracks throughout the surface. In several areas, the concrete does not extend fully into the corners, leaving rounded edges and holes where water can collect and flow underneath. Overall, the workmanship was poor, and the finished project is defective. They were very unresponsive to my request to fix the errors on the job. I found his worker Angel very rude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.

The crew that came every day were consistent with their timing, courteous, and willing to take input. We were starting with a vague diagram of what we wanted, so there were many details to finalize during the process, and they made sure to discuss each of those with us. Nick's bid was less detailed as to what would be included than other bids, so we had started out a little bit uncomfortable, but everything that we'd discussed and expected was included in the price, including adding in trenching to set up for electricity and gas lines that the other companies wanted to charge a lot for. Several months after the job was done, Nick came by to do a wellness check on the yard, including making sure that the irrigation was working properly.  He also had some of the crew come by for a few touch up items. We highly recommend Vizcay Landscaping and would definitely hire them again in the future!

The "before" picture is actually after we mowed the weeds!! I really wanted large concrete steps for a walkway and wanted to keep a little bit of green so they installed a patch of artificial turf for me and everything turned out great!! We went from one of the worst front yards to the best on our street!! (I am biased, of course!) Nick and his crew went above and beyond by replacing the existing river rocks by the garden hose with the new gray rocks. This was not originally included in the quote and I didn't think twice about it but Nick suggested replacing them so the rocks would all match. Awesome customer service!! I would highly recommend Nick and his crew!!

Fast forward almost two years later, it has gotten worse. I'm very disappointed as we were very nice and accommodating with them and even provided food and beverages while it was hot outside. They also said they can come back and re pour an also to fix a couple other things and we followed up twice and they never showed up. I feel like we were robbed and have decided to consider seeking legal advice on how to go about this. I'll update with more pictures soon. Don't give them your business! Miguel (owner) and his team are professionals, courtesy, friendly and knowledgeable. They always showed up on time and start working right away. Miguel is a licensed contractor and was very responsive to my request for a quote that included plans (drawing/layout of the completed design (names of plants and locations of the plants in the front and backyard), cost for materials (topsoil, irrigation layout (location of sprinklers sprinkler valves) including drain lines (French drains) sprinkler timer + rain/freeze sensor(i.e. 24 Hr. delay when raining), pavers, drought resistant plants and written contract. Miguel is very honest and sincere person. Before he starts the job, you agreed a schematic diagram (Miguel and the customer will sign the diagram), timelines indicted in contract (start and completion date). Miguel will provide you a copy of the contract prior to signing the contract. He discusses with you the entire contract verbatim. Miguel is clear communicator and briefs you on his progress. His crew is organized and kept the yards clean at the end of each work day. I was thinking about putting more concrete and Miguel suggested pavers in the back yard. I wasn't keen on the idea at first; however he provided me pictures of the pavers. I decided to have him install the pavers and I was pleasantly surprised after installation of the pavers were completed. They were beautiful and eye catching. Miguel installed in the front and backyard 1" salt and peppers rocks, a small grass lawn and plants (Drought resistant plants) surrounding the perimeter of the yard and a couple of Crepe Mrytel trees. My attempt was to create a yard that required very little maintenance. The yards are gorgeous. Fantastic work. I highly recommend Miguel to anyone who needs landscaping work.
