I moved to out state a few years ago. I always come back to have my facial done with Vicky when I visit my friends and family in CA. Vicky always has her way to extract all my black heads on my "strawberry nose". She is fast and that makes the extraction procedure less painful. I always fall asleep during the "steaming procedure". I was in need of a facial, so I searched Yelp high and low found Geranium. They offered various treatments,but saw that Yelp had a special on the SilkPeel Dermal Infusion treatment with special eye treatment for $100. This was a great deal as it normally would cost $130. For this treatment, you get a facial,extractions, eye massage (still don't know what that involved as I fell asleep) and silkpeel which is safe and exfoliates all that stuff on your face. I made my appointment with Lilian who was very professional and promptly started my treatment at my designated time. The place is very clean, they use Soothys products (really good skin care line for those of you in the know). My skin did look better after the treatment, but like all things in life..I will need to do up keep if I want to have gorgeous skin so I will be back.! read more

"No pain, no gain." I hadn't gotten a facial in about 6 years, so I completely forgot how much extractions hurt! I've gotta say though, it was a wonderful experience and my skin was glowing and smooth after the treatment. I think it's noteworthy to mention that I have incredibly sensitive skin, and even after the extractions, there was no redness or bad swelling. I have followed Vicky from her previous location, after being a regular for a couple of years, for the wax service on my nether regions. I was very hesitant at first, being self-conscious about my size, plus the general discomfort associated with the whole process. However, after diving into the waxing pool while on vacation in New York, I decided to give it a try when I was home. I find Vicky to be fast, accurate, conscientious, professional and friendly. I'm never embarrassed; in fact, I wave it in the air like I just don't care! I appreciate the blue wax process (never had any other kind, so I don't know the difference but from what I've read, this sounds like the way to go), and I've never had a problem aside from the inherent pain associated with hair removal. I cannot speak to the facials; having only had the waxing service but I highly recommend supporting small, local businesses! I think the cost is on par with the service "area." And, if it were less expensive somewhere else, I would question the quality of service and materials used. read more

I've had facials at numerous venues throughout Southern California, New York City, and Washington D.C., and I still find myself trying to book an appointment with Vicky whenever I am in the Fremont area. i first came to Vicky with reservations. I was referred to her by a gf but held off as long as I could. My first Brazilian was with Angie at BodyLines in Danville. She was amazing! Told her I never had it done so she walked me through the process and took her time, gave me breathers. It hurt like hell but she was very comforting. I saw her for about a year. It was no longer practical for me to drive 30 minutes to see her. I hate getting a Brazilians so I try to push my appointments as far out as possible and when I'm ready, I want to get it done NOW! I now work in Fremont and Angie's hours doesn't work with mine. I was in dire need of a wax so I finally gave Vicky a try, when she was still at the other place. Her technique was waaay different than Angie's. Vicky is FAST! I didn't even have time to say "HOLY HELL that hurt like a B!*@#". It took her 15 minutes...Angie took 30. I wasn't sure how I felt about Vicky after my first visit but I continued to see her. Took me some time to adjust to her style and technique. I followed her to Geranium because I was definitely not going to have another stranger see my who-ha. Angie will always hold a special place in my heart because she was my first. Lilian is THE best. I have been going to her for over four years and she is the only one I trust with my skin. She takes her time and recommends the best treatment to make my skin youthful and glowing. The Classic Facial is one of my favorite treatments. For $60 for almost 70 minutes of bliss is a great deal. Really it is. I would pay $60 for the face and shoulder massage alone. The cream that she uses must be infused with some sleeping agent because I always fall asleep mid way and wake up refreshed as soon as she puts the hot towel on my face. If you are afraid of extractions or are sensitive, let her know, she will listen and try to make it comfortable for you. I however, like the pain and yes I get teary eyed when she's done. But my face thanks me for it and for her. Lilian is also great with the B wax. Yes, she is fast and your cha cha will feel so smooth. That blue wax takes off everything and most of the time at first try. She will talk to you the whole time to keep your mind off the pain. If you don't want to talk just let her know. I prefer to talk, the time zooms by quick and I end up laughing in amazement because of how fast she is! A lot of my family and friends also go to Lilian and we all adore her. She genuinely cares about how your skin is and makes every effort to make sure you are happy with your skin before you walk out the door. Geranium Spa is conveniently located between 880 and 680 off Mission Blvd. The space is narrow but functional. They have three very clean treatment rooms and use Sothys facial care. As a new Italian California resident, with stubborn thick hair, I was on the search for a new place to deal with all of that. I found Lillian through yelp at the old place she was working at, but now she owns her new place, Geranium Spa. Lillian is AMAZING. I've been with her for about a year after moving to CA and I wouldn't ever even thinking of getting a brazilian wax from anyone else. This is why she's so amazing... First of all, Lillian has 12+ years of experience. Some places that I've gone to just put apply the wax, don't pay attention to the direction of the hair growth, and start pulling in crazy ways, which makes it extremely painful. Lillian notices this and pulls in the direction of the hair which cuts out most of the pain right there alone. Secondly, she does a great job of keeping you relaxed. She talks to you while she's waxing and gently hits your leg to remind you to relax when you're tensing up. Plus she is very gentle. And it helps with the pain if you relax. Thirdly, she's VERY thorough with removing ALL of the hair, as well as cleaning up. Some places leave you sticky, but she makes sure you are clean and you actually feel fresh, and don't feel like you have to rush home to go scrub yourself off! Fourthly, the price is always $50, which is awesome for a Brazilian wax!! All in all, Lillian is amazing and since going to her, its definitely been the most painless experience possible (as long as I'm relaxed of course), YES for a Brazilian wax! read more

I absolutely loved my experience with Vicky on Thursday May 18th. I originally booked for the European facial but wasn't so sure because I didn't know which facial I needed to help with my skin. So after arriving I let Vicky look at my skin so she can match it up with a facial that would make my skin better. I ended up getting the silk peel which has no chemicals or anything really lightweight. She did an amazing job the facial felt great, I even liked that she did some extractions and got my black heads out. My skin felt so clean ad even toned super radiant after. Before Vicky came into my life, I would drive to San Francisco (45min drive) to get an extremely painful Brazilian that took about 45mins to complete! And may I add, half a** job! She blamed it on my Mexican heritage! Not to mention the burns! Ouch! Painful and unprofessional! After a couple of months, I got tired of driving to San Francisco and found a place in Redwood City. I was still paying for torture! Then, Vicky came along and ever since, I'm a loyal client of 3+ yrs! Vicky is very professional, gentle and quick! I'm always out of there in less than 25mins! Since she left Lavender Spa, I haven't gone back. I end up searching for other places to get facials....Yes, I have tried different places for facials and yet, I have not found one that I liked. So, I decided to try Geranium Spa. What do you know? After all the trying...I found Lilian at Geranium Spa! Geranium Spa has several facials to choose from and also waxing. You can add on other things too, like an eye facial. I know some people might think, you don't see anything. But, too be honest, I don't think you will see your results right away. Like everything we do, we should be consistent or do things in moderation. So, if you ever think of getting a facial, do it, but do it consistently. :) I would like to think my beautiful face and forever young look is all my good genes, vitamins, healthy eating, and face masks.....I have to admit I have that guilty pleasure of getting a facial..oh so worth it! :) read more

I've been seeing VICKY for years now for my monthly Brazilian bikini wax, and have followed her here from her previous salon because she's outstanding! I can vouch for Lillian, too; both of them are excellent at what they do, super nice and professional, and people you definitely want to return to! I love the new location -- it's fresh and clean and very convenient, being right off the 680 to 880 connector. I agree with other posters -- the blue wax is a life saver. It makes the pain so much less and is far better for your skin. I've had hot wax take my skin _off_ (ouch) and the blue wax never does this nor makes me overly sensitive. Vicky also uses PFB Vanish afterwards, which is the best product I've found for combating ingrown hairs. Finally, being meticulous is a highly valued trait in this line of business, and Vicky is nothing but meticulous (and fast) -- great combination! read more

Because this is Fremont, you're not going to get the same spa experience as you would on the Peninsula or in SF, but if you want quick, efficient and relatively inexpensive, this is the place to go. I've had my brows done by much fancier salons and I always end up coming back to Vicky because she does just as good a job, if not better for a much better price. I have been going to Lillian for a couple of years now for the brazilian waxes and she always does a good job. Lillian was very pleasant, and professional, and she really makes me feel at ease because she was easy to talk to. She is also gentle and through with her waxing. I had very little pain during the brazilian wax and didn't leave with any pain afterward. She gets you in and out in less than 30 minutes. I received my second Brazilian wax ( after two years with shaving in between) from Vicky and she was quick and amazing! My first experience Brazilian waxing was super painful, which made me hesitant to try it again. She made me feel comfortable and her technique of "gently patting" helped ease the pain.
