I don't return to offices where that's the Norm rather than th exception. Its clean. A decent selection of reading material. I generally see Dr Kola as I'm a long established patient. I'm 100% satisfied with the care I receive. As a final note the nurses, MAs, PAs, are out of this world. They can answer almost anything you need to know, and often do yet they still bring it up to the Dr. for the final word. I can highly recommend this office for pain control, and injury assessment, and care.

This is going to be a long story, but I hope this could help someone…read more My ankle was broken with a ligament issue, and I was referred to see a specialist. The main office couldn't figure out the referral form from my primary doctor for 3 days, while telling me to call them to send the right paperwork, when I didn't even know what that was. After I told them I'd find another surgeon, they magically sorted it out. (Btw, this doc doesn't know how to use any modern tech. I was at 1st appt for over 4hrs). I got my surgery scheduled with Dr. Bright very soon. I had a plate and screws inserted into my ankle, which took about 2 hours. My main issue with care was that I was not given any pain medication but told to take Tylenol, although I have no history/issue with it. I had to call the next day and plead for medication while crying in pain. Also, I kept falling during my rehab, which my PT reported to the surgeon. His note should've raised a red flag, but my surgeon or office never called. When I went to see him, he briefly looked at my X-ray and my ankle and recommended removal surgery. I ended up getting surgery from a different doctor, and he said that my ligament was torn, and this should've been easily seen from an X-ray when I was injured at the beginning, and this should've been fixed during my first surgery. Why should you have a surgeon who barely listens to you, reads your charts or notes before coming into your room, or checks your updates from PT? I'm still suffering 2 years later after 2 surgeries; this may be permanent. Do not get close there.

I went to two Orthopedic surgeons who both said I needed rotator cuff surgery. A few people (two in the medical field) told me to have Dr. Schofield do my surgery, so I went to him expecting to make a surgical date. He looked at my MRI, did some manual tests on my shoulder movements which were very limited and said that I don't need rotator cuff surgery and that I have a frozen shoulder and to increase my PT. I was shocked and thrilled that I sought a third opinion. My shoulder is getting better with increased intense PT. Sadly, the nerve damage in my shoulder which is affecting the use of my dominant hand might need surgery and Dr. Schofield is helping me find the right surgeon for this unusual surgery as there's no one in Sarasota that does it. Dr. Schofield is kind, soft spoken, explains things well and listens to my questions and concerns. His staff are all very nice, and the only negative is that you can't leave a voice message. If they're answering another call the recording says to call back and then disconnects.

Dr. Johnson is one of those two chiropractors who I swear by. His knowledge and skill are absolutely amazing. As long as he is practicing, I will be a patient of his. Can't say enough, good things about him. The professional and clerical staff are also very helpful, skilled and friendly.

My visits with him are usually 12 to 14 month apart. Recently I showed up at his office 2 1/2 hours early for my appointment as I entered the wrong time in my phone calendar. After finding out I live 25 miles from the clinic his nurse, Lori, very kindly worked me in after their last morning appointment, thus delaying their own lunch by 20 minutes but it saved me almost 2 hours of waiting. He and Lori are exceptional as that kind of consideration is not common in today's world. On a side note, 15 years ago I was thrown from my horse and broke both bones in my lower leg. Although lower extremities are not his speciality area, he was the KWOC surgeon on call, and did an perfect job putting plates and screws in both bones. My leg healed perfectly. Thank you Dr. Klein!

Dr. Hanna is money first, patient last. If ever. Any concern…read moreI've ever brought to her, she has brushed off. Any referral I've asked for, she has told me I need to figure that out with my insurance, myself. She breaks everything possible into multiple visits so that billing happens as much as possible. For my last appointment, I had a urinalysis that she admitted she never reviewed, even though it was a severe issue that needed immediate care. I had to make a new appointment a week later to review those results because I still wasn't feeling well. When I told her it was unacceptable that she never reviewed my results, she said "it's Monday" and "you're not my only patient", I said it's been a week and that's a terrible way to treat a patient. She back tracked immediately and said she did review my results and never followed up because she didn't need to. She then began being very condescending to me and even told me she doesn't need to mother me or check back in (and denied telling me to call her if I needed a medication change, as my infection was a tricky one to treat). I again, told her this is very condescending as I was just following exactly what she told me to do. She actually hung up on me during this telehealth video call. She is truly the only PCP that was available when I moved here and it is clear why. The office itself is so gross and creepy. She's cared a lot more about my outfits I wore to my appointments, than my family's colorful cancer history! This was my final straw after her lack of care for 2 years, so this is probably a blessing in disguise for me!

I waited six months to get my mother, who has Alzheimer's, into this neurology office. We arrived…read moreon time today and were given paperwork to complete. The man at the front desk looked at us when we walked in, I provided my mother's name, and he handed me a clipboard without saying a single word. Not exactly a warm or helpful start. As I went through the paperwork, the first page stated that only two people are allowed to go back to the exam room. I had my father with me as well -- he also has Alzheimer's -- so leaving him alone in the waiting room was not an option. I went back to the desk and explained the situation, expecting some understanding from a neurology office that routinely works with patients who have cognitive impairments. Instead, I was told "sorry, office rules" with no flexibility or attempt to find a solution. Anyone who works with Alzheimer's patients should understand how unsafe it is to leave someone unsupervised, especially in an unfamiliar setting. Since they refused to make an exception, we had no choice but to leave -- after waiting half a year for this appointment. This office showed zero compassion, zero accommodation, and zero awareness of the needs of the very patients they claim to specialize in. I cannot recommend them.
