I'm sad to have to write this, but I feel like folks should be warned- Dr. Mitchell is a phenomenal healer and he has, literally, the worst, least professional medical office I've ever experienced. He runs, on average, between 30 and 90 minutes late and always has. He doesn't train his receptionists properly so whenever someone new comes in it's chaos. Recently I have had to contact the office between 4 and 6 times every time I need a medication ordered because it simply won't get done unless I follow up again and again and again. I so appreciate the physical help and care I've received from Dr.Mitchell, but new patients must know- dealing with this office is a consistently stressful, frustrating experience. I've brought these concerns directly to Dr. Mitchell many times and he simply won't make the necessary changes- this is just the way he does things. If you're only seeing him occasionally then it's totally worth it for his exceptional level of care (you will not find a more talented, creative, or dedicated practitioner), but if you need to see him often it's important to know what you're in for. read more

Dr Mitchell CHANGED MY LIFE. Just go see him. He is so much more than a chiropractor. He knows how all of the body systems fit together and really takes the time to listen and help. The quality of my life has completely improved since starting to see him 11 months ago. I was a slave to food and my cravings, carrying around 10 pounds of extra weight with bloat problems. Dr Mitchell diagnosed the problems and fixed ALL of them! I went to Dr. Mitchell for the first time in 2009 because for about 3 months I had been dealing with a crippling case of frozen shoulder (also known as adhesive capsulitis) in both shoulders, and had been to multiple doctors and physical therapists for treatment, and my condition was worsening. My arms were locked down to my sides due to excessive scar tissue, which formed in the shoulder joints, and I was scheduled for surgery with an orthopedic surgeon to have the scar tissue removed to release the joints. Dr. Mitchell analyzed my condition and with great care and thought, proceeded to treat me. After the very first visit, he was able to relieve the majority of the pain. Something no other doctors were able to do. While continuing to see Dr. Mitchell, I also kept my scheduled surgical appointment and had the scar tissue surgically removed from my right shoulder. The recovery from the surgery was long and painful, and I was prescribed Dilaudid, by the surgeon. Dr. Mitchell continued to treat me. While recovering from the surgery, another surgery was planned for the left shoulder...but before I went in for that second surgery, Dr. Mitchell had managed to release the joint. I canceled the second surgery and continued to see Dr. Mitchell, who brought me back to full health in a very intelligent, careful, natural, and noninvasive way. I wish I wouldn't have to say this, but although Dr. Mitchell helped me immensely and he would have had 5 stars, I had an extremely poor experience due to reasons other than his treatment. For some unknown reason, his receptionist took an intense dislike to me, she never said hello or spoke to me the way she was very friendly with the other clients and she never sent me any paperwork without my having to ask for it several times, she always spoke to me in a condescending manner whenever I had to interact with her. After I took a hiatus with the doctor, I called to ask if he would speak to me about something. The receptionist kept insisting that I tell her why I was calling and I told her I preferred to speak to the doctor, she refused to ask him if he would talk to me and directed me to email him, and I was irritated and said "OK, fine!" in an irritated tone. I don't know what she told the doctor, but since that day he refused to give me another appointment, when I call she picks up the phone and tells me to hold on and never comes back to the line, and I requested my medical records from him he took several months to provide them after I made a complaint to the licensing board. This behavior is extremely unprofessional and I would beware if you are going to need your medical records for any reason, think twice before seeing this doctor and make sure to brown nose his receptionist because she is apparently more important than paying patients. read more

You are never rushed, and he often spends hours at a time with you. The facility itself is pleasant, clean and soothing. It's far more like going to a spa treatment than a doctor's appointment. He has helped cure me of all kinds of ailments, ranging from food allergies and digestive issues to all kinds of physical problems that other doctors were not able to diagnose and treat.
