We each laid down on the "bed" with our feet dangling into a container of warm water. A blanket was put on each of us. While our feet were soaking, the massage therapists rubbed our arms and hands. They proceeded to wash and dry our feet after the arm massage. The foot and leg massage was beyond heavenly. Two of us dozed off. It felt like every cell in my body was soothed. They rubbed our feet and legs with their hands and then with hot stones before finishing by wiping and drying us. I have never had such a wonderful foot massage and I get full body massages every two weeks from another place. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because communication was difficult. I have two bad hips. When my massage therapist manipulated my legs, I almost yelped in extreme pain. I jumped and bit back tears a few times. Next time I go, I will do better at communicating my issues before we start and I will try to make sure they understand me. I slept so well last night! I DEFINITELY will go again. When I'm under a great deal of stress I end up with a very tight back. If I don't get it taken care of I will end up having a tension headache. Welp, all that ended up happening, minus the headache. i knew I needed to prevent the headache. I normally had a in home traveling massage therapist, but they moved 8 months ago. I was desperate to get my back worked on. I passed Lotus Foot Spa a few times while in the mall. I decided to give them a shot. Let's just say I will be back! This is not a complete spa setting. But, if you need your body worked on they work hard. They listen to you, and deliver a fantastic service. I had an hour body massage in the table and at the same time a 30 min foot massage. It was a full on deep tissue like foot massage and a mini deep tissue massage in my back. I knew I needed it all so I just let it keep happening. I feel so much better. I was able to full relax in some parts. Your personal belongings go under the table during the massage. They do have a sheet that covers you even though you're fully clothed. I paid $145 including tip for my services. I was taken immediately after walking in. I'm definitely going back more often to get taken care of. If you're looking for a complete spa experience with bells and whistles this is not for you. But, if you're looking for a good massage and can feel comfortable with limited privacy this will do the trick. I personally can go either way. They are great here!
