It's a diner in a shopping mall, but better than most.
Not much to look at: mall-high ceilings, make for a large, loud dining room, with lots of industrial glass and walls. The outdoor seating is even more basic, just a few chairs and tables on the concrete sidewalk in the hot sun. The menu is large, suspiciously so, as one of those places you think can't do any one thing that well by having that big a menu.
But it surprised me. All four members of my family wanted something different (steak, sandwich, omelette, fish) and all of us got a quality result. Quantity, too: most of us couldn't finish our meals. Definitely value for money, along with the range of choice. And it's licensed, too.
Staff - including the cooks - were quite friendly.
Don't go for the ambience or a fine dining experience. But go if you need to please a variety of tastes and you're very hungry. read more
