After stuffing our faces with junk all day hubby & I were in the mood for a salad for dinner and after some quick reconnaissance found this place just up the road from our hotel. We got a large chef salad and a bowl of Pasta Fagioli Soup and headed back to our room. Wow, the salad must have weighed a few pounds, topped with so much turkey, ham & cheese that I'm still not quite sure how they closed the lid, talk about a great deal, only $8 for the large. I would have preferred ham over the roast beef and instead of pickled peppers fresh ones and also was sad there was no hard boiled eggs but every place has their own take on a Chef Salad. The soup was good but more broth than anything else which was fine considering the size of the salad. The staff is friendly, plenty of parking right out front and they have Big Ben's Blue Birch Beer for the win. read more

Local gem! My picky eater family orders from here frequently knowing it will always be fresh and delicious. Our favorite Za (perfect dough, sauces, toppings, and glorious CHEESE!), great Pasta dishes, perfect Soups and Salads, amazing desserts. We especially love the seafood salad. Portions are generous and prices are excellent. Used GrubHub once for here and totally regretted it - Grubhub didn't provide utensils as asked (why ask if you're not going to let the business know?), then Grubhub texted it'd be late with a time range but their delivery person dropped it off outside with no notice (despite me requesting a delivery text). So Grubhub left the food out in the cold for 30 minutes! I highly recommend ordering directly for FAR better service. Very friendly, and great, fast, delivery. read more

Great cheesesteak and nice staff but the pizza, mac & cheese, and pirogies were all a bit bland.

Nice staff, but the food is sort of blah tasting. But of the three or four pizza places in downtown Hazleton, it's perhaps the best option.

Don't order their chicken quesadillas it's plain chicken but a piece of cheese slapped on a cold tortilla with no seasoning I wish I can upload the pictures read more

I ordered a large sausage pizza for take-out on a reccomendation from a friend. Frankly, Georgio's pizza did not disappoint. The pizza tasted as if it was made from fresh dough, and it was cooked to a golden perfection that surprisingly offered a crisp but soft crust at the same time. Georgio's does not hold back on the cheese, so there is no need for extra. The sausage seems to be of a better quality than that found at large franchise pizzerias. The flavor of the sausage is a little sweet with a little spice with neither being overpowering. My only criticism would be the sauce, which was a little bland. With so many things done well, one's tastebuds may easily overlook the shortcomings of the sauce. I look forward to tasting other menu items from Georgio's. read more

Georgio's never disappoints. They have affordable and filling specials every week day which are all awesome. They have incredible club sandwiches, hoagies, wraps, baked pasta platters and dinner entrees. The only thing I haven't tried is the pizza, ironically. But they are so consistent, I wouldn't hesitate if the mood ever arose. I would especially recommend any of their club sandwiches, pasta platters or salads. Really great food for the price and free delivery in Hazleton for when you're staying in. read more

Georgio's has the best pizza in town. My family loves the tavern pizza. They are willing to deliver to beaver meadows as long as you spend $20 or more on a single order. Not a problem is my house. The prices are very affordable. read more

I ate food from this place twice the last couple of times I was in Hazleton on business... both times were severe mistakes. The food was so badly made both times that I was running for the nearest bathroom within a half-hour (I'm probably fortunate that both times I was sitting on the commode and not kneeling in front of it!), the place itself did not look very well kept, and the fact that there are coolers full of "family size" adult beverages right by the cash register is pretty disgusting... and by the way, those rumors about one of the employees? The place is a dump and the food is ok, nothing spectacular. The pizza sauce is way too sweet and the sub buns smelled like mold, although no mold was visible. it looks like it's run by the Adams family. i saw the bald guy wipe his forehead with his hand and go right back to making food read more

the food was complete trash, my kids wouldn't even eat it. all the pizza we order tasted reheated and the ricotta cheese filling was disgusting. the Stromboli was cheesesteak and also tasted like plastic cheese and the meat is low quality. everything tasted as if it was baked in a low quality oven- and the owner even called and threatened me, which was soon reported to the local police department, you don't call customers and curse them off because your food was below par, another man handed the family business who done nothing on his own, happens a lot around here. brother Bruno's or vesivios is much better than this place. try to upgrade your outdated ovens, your taste of dishwater, cold sauce dip, dried out ricotta cheese and broccoli pizza that's burnt, and try to grow up and be an actual business owner! they probably also have cockroaches and vermin like much of downtown Hazleton. this has happened multiple times from the same place, the food doesn't improve, its always gross. and be aware of the manchild owner who does not take to criticism of outdated recipes! read more
