Dr. Carter Le is kind, compassionate, very matter-of-fact, and answered all my questions and really assuaged my many worries. The office staff is great and squeezed me in for emergency appointments related to the injury in the following weeks. We have returned for the regular 6-month appointments as well and have seen another dentist in the practice, which was a good experience. The location of this practice is very close to the 7 train line; you can get off at either the 82nd Street or 90th Street stop. Importantly, for accessibility for a pediatric practice, it's located on the ground level, and I had no trouble getting a stroller into the waiting area. All in all, Dr. Le and his team are phenomenal, and I would recommend his practice to anyone whose kids need dental care.

This is definitely a gem because they accept Child Health Plus plans (CHP). Usually the places that accept CHP are dingy with a clinical feel to them. This is also my very first cavity in all 24 years of my life and I trusted my dentist through the whole process. I had my one teeth filled and was experiencing pain and sensitivity but I waited about two weeks to see maybe if it's just my teeth trying to adjust. I made an appointment to go back and get it refilled and a second tooth next to the initial one had been drilled and filled without me knowing beforehand. I was never asked or told before the drilling that another teeth would have been touched in the process. I waited another two weeks after that, still pain and sensitivity. I cannot chew on anything on that side of my mouth. I cannot drink anything that is not room temperature without it triggering a sharp pain in my teeth. I went back again and a temporary filling was put it. Same ordeal, pain and sensitivity. Waited another two weeks and did a scan and was told I still had a bit of cavity that wasn't taken care of the very first time and was assured that this time for sure would be the last time I had to deal with this pain. So some more drilling was done and the temporary filling was put back in. AGAIN pain and sensitivity. I went back one last time and was told that maybe I was just allergic to the filling and a different filling was put in. Not only did it not help, I constantly feel like I have to grind my teeth now. This new filling also came with a lingering discomfort that has been causing me a headache. I will not be coming back here and I for sure do not recommend this place at all. Initially after the first filling was done, I had asked if I could please switch a dentist and I was denied that. This is obviously intentional negligence to not put into consideration what a patient is asking you. This experience is really traumatizing especially for what was told a small filling that took me 5 visits going back and forth. Please always ask for a second opinion about your cavities because this could literally be you. I really wish I have never had my teeth filled or step foot in this place. Thank goodness I bookmarked their info on Yelp! I called the main number and got the emergency line. Called the emergency line and Dr. Angie Chin promptly answered. Dr. Chin, reviewed our incident over the phone and helped to ease my nerves! She answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. She told me to come in first thing the next morning. I wasn't sure if they were in our insurance network so Dr. Chin said she'd have somebody from the office contact me. Talk about quick! Only about 5-10 minutes later Joann called me back to answer my insurance questions. Unfortunately, they are not in-network but Joann reviewed the price breakdown and it was reasonable so I opted to self-pay. Fast forward through my sleepless night. My husband dropped me off at the intersection so he could find parking. I had difficulty locating their office. When I called, Patty, the office manager was super sweet and stayed on the phone and gave me step by step walking directions!!! The waiting area and exam rooms are clean and bright. Dr. Chin did an exam and reviewed the X-rays and it seems there is a small chip on his tooth. Dr. Chin was awesome with my fussy toddler. She was patient, kind, and playful with him. I threatened to report her and she blatantly said I don't care because this is only a part time job and the owners are desperate to find employees she said they barely trained her for 2 weeks. At that point I decided to walk out with my son and found a credible establishment with decent reviews. I will contact the better business bureau, health department and labor department to look into a facility that hires incompetent and unqualified staff. I do not recommend this place.
