I visited this office for the first time last week with my 8 year old and my 5 year old. The waiting area is super kid-friendly. The staff behind the front desk were pleasant and friendly. Dr Cheirif was great with my children. He was very warm and very gentle. He explained everything thoroughly. The dental assistant and the dental hygienist were also excellent. Very gentle and patient as well. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The kids enjoyed their time at the office and their goody bag of dental "treats". read more

Last Thursday night my very active toddler son slipped in the bath and hit his mouth on the edge of the tub. I was horrified! My husband stopped the bleeding and calmed him down. I immediately started to make phone calls. I tried our in-network pediatric dental provider but it was after hours and I got the answering machine so I left my number. {Our in-network dentist still has not returned my call to even ask how he's doing! That's a whole other story and Yelp review!} Next, I remembered that Kids Only Dental visited my daughter's preschool to give a presentation on dental hygiene. Thank goodness I bookmarked their info on Yelp! I called the main number and got the emergency line. Called the emergency line and Dr. Angie Chin promptly answered. Dr. Chin, reviewed our incident over the phone and helped to ease my nerves! She answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. She told me to come in first thing the next morning. I wasn't sure if they were in our insurance network so Dr. Chin said she'd have somebody from the office contact me. Talk about quick! Only about 5-10 minutes later Joann called me back to answer my insurance questions. Unfortunately, they are not in-network but Joann reviewed the price breakdown and it was reasonable so I opted to self-pay. Fast forward through my sleepless night. My husband dropped me off at the intersection so he could find parking. I had difficulty locating their office. When I called, Patty, the office manager was super sweet and stayed on the phone and gave me step by step walking directions!!! The waiting area and exam rooms are clean and bright. Dr. Chin did an exam and reviewed the X-rays and it seems there is a small chip on his tooth. Dr. Chin was awesome with my fussy toddler. She was patient, kind, and playful with him. Terrific bedside manner. We go back in one month for a follow up. I highly recommend Kids Only Dental! Now I just need to switch to insurance they accept!!! read more

one word !! Amazing!! i scheduled an appt for the first time for my 4 year old. Patty the manager helped me with the process over the phone and she was so helpful and friendly. i love how you can print the new patient forms and bring them in to the office already filled out.saves you some time. the office is very clean, the front desk receptionist are very friendly and patient. when my son was seen by the dentist asst, she was very nice and i love the mouthwash routine they use to detect tartar/plaque on their teeth. it was my sons 1st visit i was scared that he would cry or be afraid but they did a cleaning and showed him the tools they would use. my son was super super calm and patient. finally we saw the dentist, dr singh and she was also nice, patient and sang rhymes for him while she counted his teeth. best part he got a bag w goodies, and prizes from the prize box. i definitely recommend this dentist for any child and i will come back here again. read more

Drs. Simon and Chin are delight professionals to work with. I am an orthodontist in Forest Hills gets referral patients from this pediatric dentistry office. I only hear complements from their patients - how they are treated like family and all the staff are kind including doctors. And the best thing is that all the patients have excellent oral hygiene! When I visited the office, it was a pleasant experience. I loved the decor of the office and Pat, the office manager, was very friendly yet professional. My son has been going to Dr. Cheirif's office for a little over 2 years. They always make him feel comfortable and safe. The staff is super efficient and we never spend more than 30 minutes in office for a regular visit! My son has been seen by both Dr. Cheirif & Dr. Chin and they're both amazing. This past Friday, my son had to get a filling and 4 teeth extracted due to over crowding and because at almost 7 years old, none of his baby teeth had fallen out but a permanent tooth was growing in. He was extremely nervous at first and was even on the verge of tears. Dr. Chin made him feel so comfortable and calm and helped him be super brave while trying his dental work done! He even got to watch an episode of Ninjago while the dentist worked! I would definitely recommend this pediatric dentist! read more

I've been bringing my kids here since they were 1 year old (the parenting books recommended it as teeth buds develop under the gum that early). I wish they would take me too as a patient but they don't treat older adults (). I moved 1.5 hours away when the kids were 3 and 5 yrs old but we keep coming here for 17 years, they are like a family and their utmost caring professionalism is without match. My daughter just had her first visit with Dr. Cheirif. The office is in the basement and a little tricky you can call the front desk but just follow the signs to their office. A tip is that you can fill out the forms at home and bring it in to save time once there. Once we went inside to start the appointment we met with a dental assistant who assessed how well my daughter is brushing her teeth and made great recommendations. Next we met with the dental hygienist who cleaned my daughters teeth and was very nice and more important professional. Lastly we met with Dr. Cheirif, he was full of energy but most importantly was knowledgeable and professional. Everyone was very professional and patient, from Joan whom I made the appointment with, to the person who registered my daughter, to the dental assistants. My kids are 5 and 8 and totally enjoy seeing their pediatric dentist, Dr. Sarah Chicosky. Any process is explained to them prior. The staff are friendly and attentive. My boys are now 20 and 17 and have been going to this office since they were 4 and 7. We never, ever once had a bad experience! In fact, it was always a great experience and usually fun especially for my boys. Now that's amazing to say when this is a dentist office and not the playground, LOL! My daughter saw Dr. Angie Chin. Normally Myaha is very anxious. Once she was seated it was explained to her in detail (as much as a 7 year old could handle). Myaha had an amazing experience. While I sat with my eyes closed very tightly , she injected her with local Novocain, never a peep from Myaha. We saw Dr. Chin for 6 year old's two baby teeth extractions. The experience was incredible, I cannot say enough good things about the office, its staff and the doctor. First, let me say that my daughter has sensitivities with anything that has to do with her mouth and usually throws fits in doctors' offices. This office has a treasure box for kids to get little toys from after the procedure is over, the staff is very nice and makes kids feel comfortable, the doctor knows her business and is sooo great with kids. They give them sunglasses so that the examination lamp does not shine into their eyes, while pulling teeth out, they give them laughing gas just for a few minutes and it completely calms the child down but they are absolutely fine afterwards, they also give a child a plush toy to hold on to during the procedure to put them at ease. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes and it is so painless for the child and the parents. With my mommy paranoia, I was at ease seeing my child being comfortable physically and emotionally and when she was done, she asked me when can we come back here again, that's a sign that this office knows what it's doing. read more
