My experience over the last 2 years with State Farm with my roof and inside my house has been one of the worst things I've encountered. My house is now almost 18 years old and for 2 years I have been fighting to replace my full roof and damage inside from not one but 2 major storm and wind damages. I have have lost count of how many contractors I who have just given up or wouldn't touch it because they were like state farm is awful and patching a roof that is crumbling they wouldn't touch. Then through a friend who was sharing my story I met Keith. They came to my house on a Sunday spent 3 hours listening to my story and going through all the paperwork. He didn't make me any promises we would win BUT he did promise he would be by my side and use every tool he knew to try and fight them. And he honored his word! He got me connected to Public adjustor company who we worked with on various stuff, he did drone test and pictures, arguing with State Farm etc. Even more amazing if that during this time I had some temporary gray pieces of tarp to try to protect my house. I was also in a battle with with my Homeowners Association. And yes he got engaged in that to helping me write letters, sending his own, offering to testify at meetings etc. all while we continue to fight insurance. Then HOA wanted to fine me $700 a day and he did what no one else would and put temp pieces where it was visible to the neighborhood to get them off my back. I know this was against everything he believed in doing BUT to help me deal with the HOA and not get charged monthly till a resolution with insurance he did it. This finally went all the way to the insurance commissioner. I'd love to say we won that fight but let's call it "draw". I received some reimbursement but still not enough to fix everything inside or the roof so it still not over as I have one more option left. But in the meantime I have to fix the roof now so no more damage happens. My main point I want to leave anyone with who is considering SWC Construction is Stop Considering AND Just Do It! They are great partners and truly a God sent. They have gone above and beyond and their service is like they are family who got your back. Regardless of the final result, partnering with Keith and Georgie has been the best decision out of a horrible situation no one should have to encounter or try to fight alone. We were very unhappy with both the process and the results of our two-bathroom renovation. No…read moresupervisor was present to coordinate the crew or oversee the work, so we came home to find mistakes daily: they installed the wrong bead board, reinstalled the old medicine cabinet rather than the new one, didn't measure for wall switches, painted the windows shut, re-installed a clearly broken electrical outlet and didn't bother to sand, leaving rough edges as trim. Aside from the mistakes, the lack of supervision meant crews operated at unpredictable times without notice (nights, weekends) and were very disrespectful of our home. They used our bed as a staging area for drywall, stored hardware on our glass picture frames and used an electric saw on our couch to cut tile. They left a mess inside every day and piles of trash outside every evening. Despite repeated requests to clean up the construction debris, no one would pick it up and we had to take it to the landfill ourselves. Each crew blamed the other for the problems so I had to contact each crew to find out how to fix the other's problems. I wondered why we even hired a contractor if we had to do this ourselves. The bright spot was Taylor the plumber, who was prompt, friendly and detail-oriented. Otherwise, we were disappointed start to finish.

I accidentally used them instead of the previous provider who did excellent work. They pressured me into giving them $150 after leaving my home. In fact, I have now realized it was a scam. I was not home to inspect the cleaning but once I returned, I notified the owner immediately. She stated she received my videos. Kristy said she received my photos of my house, and it indeed was not cleaned. However she continued to text and call me for $150 to pay her girls. She stated she would take care of it the day after Thanksgiving and I have not heard from her. I had been gone for seven weeks on deployment and truly hoped My home would be clean for the holidays. I am more than disappointed and shocked that a business owner will not hold herself accountable and pay for her own employees incompetencies. Oscar, the O in JOC, is the father, and he has a heart of gold, meaning that he will tell you exactly what needs to be done in order to take care of the customer's property as if it were his own. We had siding pieces that were foamed in to fill gaps (from previous jobs that we didn't know how to check), and he showed these to us, and told us what would be the best option to fix it: to replace these with custom cut pieces of cement board. And they did it beautifully and the same day. Our home had probably 30 different things that needed to be redone, or revamped, from siding, deck, paint, caulking, window glass, roofing, fascia's, front doors, stairs, wallpaper teardown resurfacing and painting, and much much more. I would trust JOC to build a home for me from scratch. And i know that it would be done correctly through and through, from the best materials, to the best worksmanship. We are so thankful to God that he brought Jennifer and Oscar into our lives. Because of their expert teams (they have multiple crews!) we have been able to accomplish what would have taken at least 2 months, in 2 weeks.
