My 2026 update: still $25, still in and out quickly, still kind workers... I'll be back in '27! ------- I have done my emissions testing here for 3 years now, and honestly it's just the best place around. There used to be cheaper places but now everyone is pretty even in cost, and with the service you get here, even if other places are a little cheaper... this is where you want to go. As of today, 9/5/2025 it is $25 (which matches their signage) for an emissions test. I got there around 8:30am and there were no other cars (they can run two tests simultaneously in their outdoor, covered service bay). The two guys working were super nice (the workers in past years have been as well!) and good with conversation without being a chatty or making your test take longer. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. I'll be back next year! read more

Georgia Emissions One - Their sign on Peachtree Industrial Blvd with current pricing and hours, though I believe they start testing at 7:15AM. - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Sugar Hill, Georgia

This is a great place to have your emissions done annually. The entrance to the facility is quick and easy and the whole process is simple and smooth. The prices are a little more expensive than the cheaper places around town, but the convenience and professionalism of Georgia Emissions One make this service offered hard to beat! When the need arises and until electric cars take over completely (doubt that'll happen anytime soon), count on Georgia Emissions One to take care of your emissions testing! 5 stars and two thumbs up for this Sugar Hill business! Thank you! read more

The staff was super friendly , and the emissions check was unbelievably fast. I'll be back.

I have been going here since they opened. ANGER MANAGEMENT HELP NEEDED Only 1 star because 0 is not an option. Anger management issues by employee. Even the other employee that he demanded to do the work after his EPIC failure looked worried about his rage. I pulled in behind another car and in this place, two cars get done at once. He directed me up pretty close to the car in front of me. I placed my car in park and left the engine running and opened my door to give way to the worker. I stood back by the rear of my car. He scanned a few items with a scanner, turned my car off to attach a cable under the dashboard, he then started my car by reaching from the outside with an open-door standing position across my steering column and the gear shifter (See picture) and tried to tap the start button three times as I watched which he also put the car in gear and it started rolling toward the car in front of me. I told him my car is in gear and rolling, he was out of the car headed to the front, not sure why. I hopped in the driver's seat and placed my foot on the brake, stopped my vehicle and put it back in park. He then reached in with his foot and aggressively slammed my parking brake into the floorboard. I asked him what is your problem? He told me that I left the car in gear, and I responded how I am responded too. I then responded you turned the car off and back on, cars will not start if in gear. He then reached in my car and again aggressively yanked the cord out of the socket from under my dashboard and said leave go somewhere else while getting his face inches from mine. I told him he better back off and get out of my face. I asked if he was in charge and let the other guy do the service. The other guy came over and he looked scared of this guy with anger management issues. In a moment, he restated get out of here and go somewhere else. Great NON customer service exactly what NOT TO DO. NEVE GOING BACK. I will also be seeing if I can file a complaint with Gwinnett County. read more

This is one of the best smog check stations you can find. Super friendly staff! Quick and easy service!

Friendly and excellent service. I sure appreciate the gentleman who checked my car today.

I can't rave about this business enough. I am all about efficiency. I was in and out within minutes. This emission testing experience was so seamless. Scott is an absolute gem of a human. He went out of his way to ask about my day and have a quick conversation. Absolutely made my day. read more

These folks were amazing! They had me in and out of there in no time. Scott was super professional and friendly and I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing emissions testing done. Thanks so much, guys! read more

Can't brag enough on this place. Even with a line of three cars ahead of me, I was in and out in less than 12 minutes without even having to step out of my car. Robert, the inspector, was kind and inviting. I will most definitely be back anytime I need an emissions test. read more

Is it possible to love an emissions testing place? I guess so because I do. My birthday came and went and I realized I hadn't gotten this done and therefore couldn't renew my tag. I arrived mid morning on a Wednesday and had no wait. I was in and out in under 10 minutes without having to get out of my car. Paid the $25 and was on my way. Can't recommend this place enough. Easy to find and get in and out of. I'll be back next year - hopefully before being past due. read more

My car was due for an emissions inspection and I'm glad I went to this independent shop to have it done. Friendly and fast service.

clean, quick and easy to deal with. $25 for an emissions test. I take all my vehicles here now

Quick. Friendly. Affordable. Not much more you could ask for! And you don't have to exit your car

Every time I've been here I've had very friendly service and I didn't wait long. The location is also convenient

We've been using this Georgia Emissions station for many years, since they opened I imagine, and it has always been a wonderful experience! Huge "thank you" to them for making something required for the government incredibly easy (just defies logic that those words be in the same sentence). The past 2 years, during the pandemic, we have called right before stopping in and each time the person working has easily agreed to put on a mask (I have MS and take meds that leave me without an immunity). This company truly cares and that seems to be harder and harder to find. As long as they stay open we will use them and continue to recommend them to our friends. read more

I came through needing an emissions test. The guys were super friendly and it was quick. Highly recommend this spot. You do pay the full price of $25 but you'll most likely pay that anywhere AND the service here is just great. read more

Super fast and polite. That's all you can hope for when you're getting emissions done. I'm

I used Georgia Emissions to return the Penske truck that I had rented. After driving for two VERY long days cross country, I had arrived to my new place only to realize that the padlock that I had put on the truck roll up door was wedged and I couldn't unlock it. I was on a very tight time frame and needed to get the truck unloaded. I drove it to Georgia Emissions and the NICEST gentleman helped me get it open. I have never met someone with such impeccable manners and so kind (kudos to his parents!). I apologize for forgetting his name! As a single female, I am incredibly grateful for his help and his amazing manners - the man held an umbrella over me in the pouring rain even though I had a hooded rain jacket on and he didn't! Just because of this, I will be using them for all of my moving truck and Emissions needs in the future! Thank you and God Bless you! read more

This was my first time here. The small business was in an old house on a piece of land. They were professional and very polite. The emission didn't take long at all maybe 15 mins or shorter. I will definitely be back next year. read more

Very friendly and efficient. Never a long wait. Have been going there for three years and will continue to do so!
