I have been going here since they opened. ANGER MANAGEMENT HELP NEEDED Only 1 star because 0 is not an option. Anger management issues by employee. Even the other employee that he demanded to do the work after his EPIC failure looked worried about his rage. I pulled in behind another car and in this place, two cars get done at once. He directed me up pretty close to the car in front of me. I placed my car in park and left the engine running and opened my door to give way to the worker. I stood back by the rear of my car. He scanned a few items with a scanner, turned my car off to attach a cable under the dashboard, he then started my car by reaching from the outside with an open-door standing position across my steering column and the gear shifter (See picture) and tried to tap the start button three times as I watched which he also put the car in gear and it started rolling toward the car in front of me. I told him my car is in gear and rolling, he was out of the car headed to the front, not sure why. I hopped in the driver's seat and placed my foot on the brake, stopped my vehicle and put it back in park. He then reached in with his foot and aggressively slammed my parking brake into the floorboard. I asked him what is your problem? He told me that I left the car in gear, and I responded how I am responded too. I then responded you turned the car off and back on, cars will not start if in gear. He then reached in my car and again aggressively yanked the cord out of the socket from under my dashboard and said leave go somewhere else while getting his face inches from mine. I told him he better back off and get out of my face. I asked if he was in charge and let the other guy do the service. The other guy came over and he looked scared of this guy with anger management issues. In a moment, he restated get out of here and go somewhere else. Great NON customer service exactly what NOT TO DO. NEVE GOING BACK. I will also be seeing if I can file a complaint with Gwinnett County. read more

Is it possible to love an emissions testing place? I guess so because I do. My birthday came and went and I realized I hadn't gotten this done and therefore couldn't renew my tag. I arrived mid morning on a Wednesday and had no wait. I was in and out in under 10 minutes without having to get out of my car. Paid the $25 and was on my way. Can't recommend this place enough. We've been using this Georgia Emissions station for many years, since they opened I imagine, and it has always been a wonderful experience! Huge "thank you" to them for making something required for the government incredibly easy (just defies logic that those words be in the same sentence). The past 2 years, during the pandemic, we have called right before stopping in and each time the person working has easily agreed to put on a mask (I have MS and take meds that leave me without an immunity). This company truly cares and that seems to be harder and harder to find. As long as they stay open we will use them and continue to recommend them to our friends. read more

I used Georgia Emissions to return the Penske truck that I had rented. After driving for two VERY long days cross country, I had arrived to my new place only to realize that the padlock that I had put on the truck roll up door was wedged and I couldn't unlock it. I was on a very tight time frame and needed to get the truck unloaded. I drove it to Georgia Emissions and the NICEST gentleman helped me get it open. I have never met someone with such impeccable manners and so kind (kudos to his parents!). I apologize for forgetting his name! As a single female, I am incredibly grateful for his help and his amazing manners - the man held an umbrella over me in the pouring rain even though I had a hooded rain jacket on and he didn't!
