We ended up going the store was very cute and smelled good and clean. My friend and I were unable to find things in our size all they seemed to have was XS-MED we asked if they had plans of getting in other sizes and the lady rudely responded "we just opened you need to be patient" We were only asking a question.... Haven't been back since. I am considering giving them another chance in the future. They have since moved locations and that brings me to my next two concerns that they leave the door open all day and put some clothes outside. This leading me to the idea the clothes would be getting dirty and dusty?! Also, every time I drive by the workers are sitting outside the front of the store smoking. I am not a smoker and frankly hate the smell. I would believe the clothes could possibly smell like cigarettes. As I said I have never actually purchased anything from this store. Also, I can't find a local phone number anywhere to get a hold of anyone.

Everybody that works there is very kind and friendly. The selection is as eclectic as you can imagine. Many of the clothing items still have the tags on them! They rotate through their stock very quickly, mostly because their items are priced well. It is an excellent source for children's clothing, many look like they have never been worn! I have noticed that they are starting to price a little higher than in the past but, inflation is everywhere!! Defiantly worth your time to stop in while in town. I dare you to leave with nothing ~ it is very hard to do. Don't pass up their dollar and the clearance racks, you would be surprised what you might find. Each time I visit, there are noticeable upgrades in the store. They continually evolve, making improvements and changes that make the shopping experience better. This store has been my go to for years for farm and garden supplies. My pup has spent his 1.5 years…read moreof life going in weekly for treats. But Rhonda, the manager, has decided that children running through the store flailing cat toys is Acceptable behavior and that a well controlled, obedient dog who barks at such visual stimulation is not welcome in such a farm store. Prioritizing unruly children while asking a dog barking and wagging his tail was enough but for Rhonda to continue to label my long time customer pup as aggressive to the shock of her staff was enough to lose me as a customer forever. If they wants kids to scream and dogs to be silent, maybe don't allow pets in the store. Rhonda is a dark spot on this business and will surely cause other customers to see what homesteaders truly stands for. I have supported them through the pandemic and supply shortages and huge price inflation to support local. But no more. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere where they care about you, your farm, your dollar, and most of all, your loyalty.

The owner is a very nice guy, I needed to get an extra laundry soap and he just handed it to me no charge, completely unexpected... I insisted on paying for it and he said "don't worry, I sleep with the owner" , which is his wife, it gave me a nice laugh for the day and I will be returning every summer since I spend the summers in The Yaak :) Great business and great family.

I had left to do some errands, it is a 31 minute cycle, and when I came back, the washer had never started. I called for help and the guy (apparently the owner) told me that I 'need to put money in it', when I stated that I had put money in he then said, 'you must have put money in a different machine'! I stated that I wasn't an idiot and he opened the coin slot and started the washer for me. It was very insulting and he has the personality of a porcupine! If you don't have to deal with him, it is a pretty nice laundromat. They also have a drop off service and can send your dry cleaning to Kalispell for you.
