The customer service I have experienced since selecting them as my go-to for business related flower deliveries has surpassed my expectations! Part of my work requires ordering flowers for life events, and I am on week 5 of my new job. I have already ordered 8 bouquets over that time period, and there have been a few snafus regarding recipient addresses. George's doesn't stress for one minute, and has gone BACK to pick them up, even offering to re-make the bouquets for other days, at no charge! The lengths they go to in order to ensure your satisfaction is honestly so admirable. I even ordered flowers for myself the other day, simply to give them more business. Friendly and professional on the phone, and the delivery was made within hours! I looked at a major online service, but I decided to go direct to a local florist based on reviews. So far I'm really happy I did - the person I spoke to on the phone was very courteous and asked good questions to help me describe what I wanted. George's was also able to meet my budget. I asked for same-day delivery and thought I'd be waiting til close of business to hear if the flowers were delivered. Thought George's was too expensive but wanted to buy locally due to Covid and need to support local merchants. Wow! I never buy flowers so I had no idea what I was doing when I went into the shop today. I was approached right away by a lady asking if I needed help. I wish I remembered her name, she has shoulder length dark hair. Well I definitely needed help and she did a wonderful job. We picked out a bouquet, stem by stem. I was looking for someone to make a bridal bouquet, maid of honor bouquet and a few boutonnieres and corsages for our small outdoor wedding in July of this year. I wasn't looking for sophisticated arrangements, just something simple that was within budget. Out of all the places I contacted, George's Flowers, Inc. was the only one that was willing to work with my budget and give me some options. Denise was great to work with during the consultation. She listened to what I wanted while giving some great suggestions. The arrangements were finished on time for pick-up the day before the wedding and turned out lovely. I was so impressed with this flower shop! I order flowers about four times a year and this was the first time I used George's. I live in Georgia and found them on Yelp and then went to the website. When I called to order the lady I spoke to was so helpful. She made sure that everything included in the order was in stock before our conversation concluded. The flowers were beautiful. Fantastic florist with service above and beyond what is expected. My mother was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital on Christmas Eve day and I didn't have her room number until almost noon. I live on the other side of the country - but I am familiar with George's and saw that they were open until 2:00 that day. I immediately called and asked if there was any possible way that they could deliver THAT day to St. Mary's hospital - and to my surprise - they agreed. I asked which Christmas arrangements that they had in stock and the woman I spoke to was so helpful and told me they would get it out before they left for the day. Not 35 minutes later - my mother texted me and was so happy that she got the flowers - I couldn't believe they delivered them that quickly! If you have an urgent order and want flowers of the highest quality - I absolutely recommend George's. I asked for something elegant with lavender roses. When it came, the arrangement was beautifully arranged, gorgeous and tasteful, and exactly what I asked for. When (probably because of the heat) the roses didn't last as long as the rest of the arrangement, they completely stood behind their product and replaced them without any fuss. I am dazzled. I ordered the arrangement from California and everything went as smooth as silk. I will definitely use them again. I thought it was really good value for the money, and they made me look good to the recipients. They also delivered when they said they would, and the replacement roses arrived almost as soon as my email left my computer. read more

I called 5 days before Valentine's day requesting a specific type of flower as a Valentine gift for my partner. I was told that they did not have any in stock and did not have cooler space to store them. I offered to pick them up the day they were delivered so as not to take up space, and was told that they would not order them. I inquired about whether it was an issue of quantity; did they need to order more than I was requesting thereby requiring them to have storage space for the excess? If I was requesting 12 and they had a minimum order of more, I was willing to buy more. Again, I was told, "no, sorry" without even asking how many I wanted even though she did indicate that they would still be getting deliveries this week. While the woman was very pleasant and did apologize, I feel that good (or excellent) customer service would have been to order the flowers that the customer is requesting. I was more than willing to understand and work with their space constraints and purchase the minimum amount (depending on how many that was....I was never given that information even though I asked). I also asked whether I should have ordered earlier to accommodate the fact that I needed a specific type (not specific color) of flower. I was told, "no, we don't have space". I took my business to the next florist on the list and was able to place an order for exactly what I needed. read more

I have purchased flowers here multiple times in the past. While expensive, their arrangements are very beautiful. I thought of George's immediately for my wedding bouquet. I am handicapped but drove to George's to speak with the staff in person over 9 months before my wedding. I was told that the wedding coordinator would need to call me back. She did call back but said that they already had a wedding on our wedding date so they could not assist me. I called a few months later to confirm that they would not be able to prepare ONE bouquet for us to pick up the day before our wedding. They confirmed that they would not sell me flowers for my bouquet (even though I offered to just buy the flowers and put the bouquet together myself). I am incredibly disappointed by this. It is shocking to me that I cannot even buy flowers from them because there is a wedding that week. So, unfortunately, I will not be shopping here again. read more
