I recently had the opportunity to visit Doctor Stephen Kuzmak for dental work. I previously had…read moretwo root canals performed by an endodontist in Timonium and it didn't go great and in return caused breakage to my teeth. I have always had a fear of dentist because of past experiences which were very painful. I researched top dentist in Maryland and I came across Dr. Kuzmak, Towson View Dental Care and decided to give them a call and make an appointment. I was very nervous about the visit because I had two broken teeth with only the roots left in my gums. Upon my arrival I was meant by a warm and welcoming staff. Dr. Kuzmack himself came out to the waiting area to greet me and to offer me a bottle of water. That definitely helped take the edge off. He explained everything to me before he began the procedure. I always brace myself for the initial needle stick and deep burning that follows from the Novocaine... However to my surprise Dr. Kuzmack pulls out a device that he uses in conjunction with the needles that massages your gums during injection which helped to alleviate any pain! I was totally taken back that I did not feel ANY pain the entire procedure. No pain from the needle or the root extraction. If you are in need of any dental work and have a fear that there may be pain, or you are in search of quality dental service Dr. Kuzmack of Towson View Dental Care should be your #1 choice! I don't usually leave reviews, but I can't express enough gratitude for Dr. Andersen!…read more For nearly three weeks, I had severe pain in one of my back teeth along with what appeared to be a "lesion" on the inside of my gum. I saw two other dentists and was told that my tooth was fractured and needed to be extracted. I came to this office during their annual free extraction event expecting to lose the tooth. Dr. Andersen took the time to thoroughly evaluate the situation and wasn't convinced that extraction was the right answer. She determined that the "lesion" was actually a piece of bone protruding through the gum and removed it. Almost immediately, the pain that had been bothering me for weeks was gone. I am incredibly grateful not only because she found the real problem, but because she saved my tooth. Her knowledge, patience, and willingness to look deeper instead of rushing to remove the tooth made all the difference. Thank you, Dr. Andersen, for your exceptional care. I truly can't thank you enough.

I reluctantly agreed, and then on that second visit a different dentist demanded I undergo extensive imaging unrelated to the crown in question. When I declined the panorex she refused to either treat me or refer me to another dentist. This was unprofessional and unethical. If you want to make your own dental choices, this is not the practice for you.

It was a relaxed environment, and both him and his receptionist were kind and caring. He did all of the routine maintenance for a very affordable price and was nothing less than professional. He also directed me and my boyfriend to the better parts of Baltimore and talked with us at length before we left. If I were to stay in Baltimore, I would continue treatment with Dr Williams. I've been to quite a few orthodontists on the road so far and Dr. Williams seems to be exceptional by comparison.

Dr. Williams performs the fitting of the braces himself, it is not delegated. He is the only orthodontist in the office, and he provides most of the direct, hands-on care himself with a unique blend of art, science, and experience that only years of teaching and practice can produce. After dental school, Dr. Williams completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Oregon. He served as an orthodontist with the US Army on Okinawa, Japan and Augsburg, Germany. After moving to Baltimore, he taught full-time in the orthodontic department at the University of Maryland Dental School, and received his Masters Degree in education. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and he continues to teach one half day/week. We limit our practice to orthodontics only, and have the experience to handle a wide range of services. Mini-metal and clear ceramic brackets are available, and Dr. Williams has treated over 80 patients with clear Invisalign aligners. The type, length, and cost of treatment will vary depending on your wants and needs. There is no charge for the initial consultation where you receive an estimate of the length and cost of your treatment. We participate in many of the major insurance plans. Both Visa and Master Card are accepted, and no-interest financing is available. You can be confident in trusting your smile.
